Hoops Food & Spirits — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

The wings and the fried fish are 5 STARS ✨‼️‼️‼️ My initial experience w this place was through ubereats. I ordered them almost daily for a week. They are great. However when I decided to call in an order and pick it up … I was greeted w a fairly outdated establishment… Signage was old.. decor was a bit outdated and it reeked of cigarettes of course. But not only that .. the bartender was not very amicable.No greeting, and when the man sitting next to me at the bar tried to let her know i was there for a pick up(because we made light conversation) she was rude to him lol. Sometimes people are comfortable and joke w their patrons so I hope they knew eachother. Luckily I was able to meet one of the cooks there and she was very friendly and cared about how the order came out. All in all “hole in the wall” spots are usually the best so i’m not suprised but w a little update to the aesthetics and friendlier...

I would always give hoops a 5 star. But since there has been a new cook or shift cook my co-workers and I have noticed less fish and charged more. I have been a valuable guest for 8 years now who really enjoy the catfish and wings. The new hires are rude. I usually place my orders for my job minimum (12 orders) and also my home minimum (4 orders) all of us has seen a major change in quality, quantity, and guest service! I am definitely going to seek higher superiority in regards of this and see exactly what is going on. I know for a fact that it is not from recovering from Covid because I was ordering during those trying times and was definitely satisfied. I also will be visiting from time to time to actually see if this treatment is pushed on other guest as well. 2 stars for the uncaring staff members🙄👎🏼 But overall Hoops was definitely my go to for...

Not going to give it a star for the bartender but will not go back there again if the same bartender is on duty, asked for a fork and it seemed to much for her to do because she was too busy putting on her make up sitting at the bar, along with spraying perfume right next to us while we were eating.! Could have been that her shorts were way too tight. The Nacho's were good though. Great atmosphere for watching a game, good nachos, piss poor bartender. My husband and I were in there for over an hour, had 3 beers each and nachos, not once did she ask how are things (food, drinks) we had to catch her when she got up from her phone or putting her make up on. Another customer had to ask for drinks as well and he knew the bartender with the rainbow dreadlock...
