I've lived in Aliante since 2007 and today was my first visit to Sushi Tachi. It's a bit hidden away off of Simmons, but you can see the restaurant when your on Centennial. There is plenty of parking space in the front since it's in a strip mall. The restaurant was packed, but there is a 60 minute limit when your doing the all-you-can-eat option. We were a party of 3 and had to be placed on a wait list. We ended up waiting only 14 minutes and we were seated. You'll leave your phone number on the wait list and they'll simply call you. Their menu is pretty extensive. They have photos of their sushi on one menu and more extensive second menu with just words. It's fairly easy to follow. The sushi is fresh and delicious. It's not like other sushi restaurants where you wait extensive amount of time in-between orders. They are quick. The 4 waitresses constant work around the restaurant in order to ensure you are getting your orders in quickly. You don't feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend this establishment. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

I absolutely love Sushi Tachi!! Best service and time on food serving. Sushi here is always fresh. Flavors are there and presentation always looks yummy! 😋

I wish I had taken more photos, Im usually really good at that but we were starving when we arrived! We went on a Monday around 5pm. The lot is small and busy due to being next to an EOS gym. We were greeted warmly and requested to sit at the sushi bar. The chefs were kind and chatted warmly. Our orders were taken care of promptly and everything tasted good. I'd like to try more next time but we quickly got full. The only complaint I had was the height of the bar is uncomfortably high compared to the barstools. It needs to be lowered right away. I would not sit at the bar next time. The sake was okay, they definitely needs more variety. I would recommend this place for couples or family for its friendly and casual ambiance. It's a very chill restaurant and the Sushi is better than most places around here.

I heard great reviews about this place so I called to see if they were open on Labor Day (Mon, 9/5). The lady who answers the phone says they are open and the wait is 30 minutes, so I put my name and number down and I'm told she would call when the table is ready. Shortly after, I pull up to the parking lot and wait in my car. I notice that there's a group of people waiting outside of the restaurant and after 5 minutes they are eventually seated. Then within 10 minutes I see people walking in and I brush it off thinking that they probably had reservations. Then 4 others arrive and after waiting for a few minutes outside, they too are seated.

Now, 45 minutes have passed so I finally call the restaurant to ask if our table is ready and the lady on the other line seems to have forgotten about us (or isn't looking at her list) then says, "oh yeah... it's ready! I tried to call you." Knowing that she is lying, I double-check my phone to confirm that NO ONE called. So I mention, "But you didn't. I don't have any missed calls." She just repeats herself that the table is ready and I reiterate that no one called and I could see that people are getting seated who arrived after me. She just pauses and disregards repeating herself, "well the table is ready." I hang up and drive off because she lied.

This was an awful first impression. It's the principle. If you forgot, just say that. I don't expect you to remember us and I can understand if it is crazy busy, but do not lie - especially since I'm sitting outside watching people get seated easily.

** As I am submitting this review nearly 2 months after my experience, I see that the restaurant has a message: "We are not taking reservations, only walk-ins!" - I'm not sure how long they've had that note up, but if it was around the time I visited, the person answering the phone should have...

I have dined frequently at a nearby competitor, but wanted to try Sushi Tachi after my workout at Eos Fitness next door. I had friends tell me they preferred Tachi as compared to a nearby restaurant. Today, I visited Tachi for lunch for the first time and was disappointed on several items. First is ambiance; a single small(er) TV was mounted above the bar, and not displaying in HD. If you're going to have a flat screen TV, don't cheap out on television service so it looks like garbage. Second was service; the chef's behind the bar don't smile. What is that about? They make me feel guilty when ordering because of how they look at you. If you don't like your job, find a new one. And there was only a single chef taking bar orders so this made getting in my orders an interruption to them because they are just pumping out orders for other patrons. More staff need to be hired. Food quality was good with a few exceptions; some of my Super White Tuna nigiri sushi was warm; blech. (The cold pieces were amazing though!) The teriyaki sauce on the chicken had a strange flavor. The roaming wait staff were very helpful, filling my cup, asking if I'd like any kitchen items: they smiled. This made me feel more comfortable. The restaurant is convenient to my home, but I don't think...

I'm gonna be honest for my review. In the past me and my family loved comming here, it was always really fast and nice service. The past 2 times it hasn't really been that. The most recent time we went the place wasn't packed at all. There was a table of maybe 10, my families table of 4 and then a table of 2. There was around 4 or 5 workers as well and they all usually share all the tables, but somehow this day every single one was more focused on the table of 10 passing us multiple times even after calling out for them. It took my sister 30 minutes to get around 4 things out for her, and around 15 for 2 things of mine to come out. My mom who is allergic to seaweed asked for her things wrapped in soy paper and when it was brought out it was wrapped in seaweed with a small piece of soy on top. We of course sent it back and they took the plate that my mom had and held to another table, they did this with one other item we had as well. After sending it back it took around 10 minutes to come out correctly. After around an hour and a half there my dad still had not received everything he asked for in the first 30 minutes just wanted to leave and cancel the rest thay...
