Absolutely the worst customer service and food/smoothies my family has ever experienced.
Myself, husband and son came here to get food and smoothies around 9:30PM on a Sunday night. We roughly spent $50. The sandwiches had hard crusty chicken and were not made as ordered. The smoothies were watered down and tasted awful. We waited in the drive through for over 20 minutes.
After getting home, we decided this was NOT something that we could eat, so we went back to ask for a refund on our order. This time we went into the restaurant and the two employees were partying in the dining area with 4 of their friends.
We stood at the counter and waiting for someone to acknowledge us. When the girl finally got up and went behind the counter, we asked to be refunded.
She said that she has no way to refund us and that she could make it again. We said we don't want it again, it was not awful. She repeated "Well then, there is nothing I can do for you. I can make it again, or you can leave."
We asked if there was a manager, she said there is a manager that comes in once in a while. I asked for his name, she said Franky. We asked when Franky would be in next and she said there is no schedule. I said, "How does anyone know when they are supposed to come in for work?" She repeated, "There is no schedule."
I asked if there was a way to contact Franky, she said no. I asked who runs the restaurant if there is no management, she said, "Just us employees run the restaurant." I asked her for her name, she said, "I'm not telling you."
We said, "Well something needs to be done, we are not paying for this, it was horrible and incorrect, you can't steal people's money without a resolution." She looked at her friends in the dining area, laughed and said, "Guys, did I steal their money? Ha ha ha." Everyone laughed and started calling us names.
She then yelled at us to leave the restaurant or she would call the police. I said, "Great, please call them, we want this to be documented on how this restaurant is being run and how you are treating your customers."
She pretended to call the police, but then just went back to laughing and partying with her friends.
We disputed the charge while we were there, left all the food and drinks on the counter, took documented photo proof of everything and left. She then locked the door behind us at 10:25PM with her friends all still inside.
We are truly disgusted by this experience. Please save yourself money and frustration and go anywhere else. This place is being run...

And not to mention, something was always forgotten or the workers were very RUDE! So I stopped coming to this place. However, recently we relocated and what do you know we now live near this specific location so I figured why not Iāll try it again. I noticed new faces and I was helped INSTANTLY!!! There was a new girl there she had a very interesting name but I heard someone call her Chevy but her name tag said differently and I didnāt want to butcher it. Point is. SHE is the reason why my colleagues and I started coming back to this specific property. She was very welcoming and very kind. She was very quick on her feet and very honest. She was patient (we had a large order) and thoroughly overlooked our entire order and offered extra napkins and always tells us to have a great day! When you work in the customer service industry it is very IMPORTANT to make your customers feel welcomed as soon as they walk through your doors and drive up to your drive thru windows and Chevy (Iām sorry if I got your name wrong) DOES JUST THAT! My kids love getting their order RIGHT and I love to be able to come to a place and order FOOD without feeling like Iām disturbing a hang-out high school meeting spot.
I recently used their app for my personal foodie craving and again it was efficient. Thank you Chevy for making my experience at Tropical Smoothie a great experience. You are a great asset to this company. Keep up the great work...

I spent over an hour at the drive thru and nobody there taking any orders. Decided to come in and order it took them 15 mins to take my order when there was just me and staff just staring at me standing there. Asked the cashier lady if they are manning the drive thru and she said their machine is broken. They could have put up a sign by the drive thru if that was the case. There were 3 other cars waiting behind me. Reading the other reviews seems like this had always been the case that their drive thru takes forever regardless if their machine is broken or what not. Staff are terrible they donāt know customer service. I ordered an acai bowl and she told me it wasnāt available. I asked her what is available then and she told me everything else but that and when I ordered the PB bowl she told me that wasnāt available. Ends up only one type of bowl was available. Definitely frustrating. Clearly this place is not well managed and needs to be checked by Tropical.
Update as of 12/28/24. They have so much better group of staff. Glad they got rid of those lazy staff that they had before and they donāt seem to have the problem of payment machine breaking down all the time anymore. Drive-thru is swift and orders are spot on. These ladies working here are very efficient and if there is a waiting time they definitely would let you know. They are very respectful. Such a great service from the new staff. Would love to tip for a service like theirs! Good...
