Jonjoli Georgian Kitchen — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

My boyfriend found this lovely restaurant a couple of weeks ago as we were trying to do something different for our 6 years anniversary! We’ve always wanted to try Georgian food, and this place was amazing. Everything was fresh and made to order. We got the khachapuri (bread boat), and 5 meat khinkali (dumplings) to share, which was enough because they’re a pretty decent size and they fill you up. (Note if you want to try the dumplings they charge by piece, so you have to let them know exactly how many you want). Food took about 10-15 minutes to come out which was great because everything was made to order. We washed everything down with a Georgian soda in the cream flavor, and when we left I picked up the berry flavor to try as well. The food came out fresh, and hot, and we devoured everything. We also tried the desserts, and they did not disappoint. The Kada was delightfully buttery with a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with tea. And the honey cake—wow! It was layered to perfection, soft, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet.

I’ve known the owner’s other restaurants for over 10 years, and I’ve always been a fan. A few days ago, I stumbled upon this spot completely by chance — I’ve been on a mission to find the perfect khinkali in Miami, and guess what? I found them.
