Boardwalk Beach Cafe — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

We love to visit here while we are staying at Prince Resort. Although, tonight we were not pleased with a staff member. We watched Jan (waitress) give Grace (bartender) a hard time for not taking on another table. Grace had a full bar and did not want to take on a 6 top and wanted to take the small table instead. She worried she could not take care of them properly. Keep in mind Jan was on the phone and Grace nicely started the small table for her. There were only 3 tables of people in the bar! Then Jan proceeded to call management in ear shot of the entire bar and complain. Why would you not want a 6 top table as a waitress?? Especially when you only have one table at the time?? What really upset me was the complaining and calling a manager to further complain in front of customers. She literally made sure Grace and we could hear her. Very unprofessional and after seeing Grace try to put a smile on through tears, really made me mad. She had just told us prior about how much she loves working here and then bam! Do people not know how to be professional and handle their business? Let's call management over every problem and make sure the whole place knows I'm unhappy??! Not cool and I hope to never have her as a waitress. Handle your problems later. Get things off your chest, yell, cry, whatever. But, don't disrespect a fellow employee in front of customers. You should have one...

Probably the worst place I have ever been too If it was possible to give it zero stars I would. We came here looking for some drinks and quick food. The waitress started out by saying she didn't want us to get drunk, which we weren't planning on. Then after order was placed. We never saw her until it was time to pay. Although we saw her plenty of times over in the corner just staring at the computer. Food took well over an hour to arrive. Went at least 30 minutes without refills. Then another waitress finally came but looked at us and said what are you looking at, what do you want. Also, a table that arrived 30 mins after we were waited on got their food first. And then not to mention, after our initial check was delivered, she brought us another check that was more expensive saying there was a technical error! Just overall the worst dining experience ever! Where do I start? Thought this would be a great little place to grab a quick dinner for the night. Boy was I wrong! We paid 14.00 for a half jacked double bacon burger that was supposed to haveHouse sauce( was told they were in stingy with it so it didn’t come with unless asked for) well I asked but never got it. Then we paid 20.00 freakin dollars for a hand full of fried shrimp that was cold and came out without fries. The hush puppies were like bouncy balls. Then a chicken tender plate was 16.00 for 4 tenders and fries. Asked for ranch and it was an extra .50 cents per container that we was charged for and never got. Mind you we waited for ever for refills. I finally got mine after I had finished eating! This was 2 trips in one! FIRST AND LAST!
