This was undoubtedly the worst breakfast I have ever had. I got a western omelette and grits, one glass of water and wheat toast. First of all, I got charged a $0.50 surcharge for the eggs. They said the omelette was three eggs so that's $1.50 on top of how much The Omelette already cost. It came with no cheese. Rye bread was also a surcharge. The Omelette was so small. It only looked like a one egg omelette and was terrible. I will never go back to this establishment. Mind you I am one person with a $4 tip. My bill was almost 20 bucks and it was substandard at most. I advise people to not waste their money I can go to Johnny D's in North Myrtle Beach. Me and my girlfriend both can eat a nice breakfast. Have any beverage we want and leave a $5 tip and it only cost us $20 total with no surcharge for eggs. Man, it's hard to swallow for sub-standard food and such a high price that I experienced at Atlantis pancake House. I asked people to steer clear unless they just love wasting money and if that's the case just throw it out the window as you ride by cuz that's what you'll be doing by...
Read moreWe love eating breakfast here when we stay in Cherry Grove! They don't judge you if you walk in wearing a one-piece bathing suit with shorts over it like some places do (The Shack). We've eaten here twice in the past 3 weeks. Everything has been delicious. I will ding them on their bacon that we received 3 weeks ago. You could tell it was microwave quality bacon (very thin, almost paper thin with no flavor)... but everything else is stellar. We've both just learned not to order bacon. This last time I opted for their country ham and it was a large portion and very delicious. Their home fries cannot be beat! Dropped them to a 4/5 because the majority of the time, the staff is talking very loudly about other staff members (good old fashioned gossip) or they are sitting down at a table eating breakfast or drinking coffee themselves. That's the only downside, but all in all, we frequent this breakfast place and love how close it is to...
Read moreI will try to make this review as fair as possible. First the place was a nice quaint place. Very good atmosphere. Waitress was new, but extremely nice. We came in as a family of 3. My meal was $10 my wife’s was $10, and son had a kids meal for like $8. Drinks were about 4 each. I was thinking meal would roughly be around 50ish dollars with tip. The meal ended up being over $70. They had so many hidden fees from being nickeled and dimed on everything. They tried making us pay extra for things that came with our meal. I got a pancake platter that came with 2 pancakes, 1 egg, and 1 bacon. They argued I ordered 2 eggs. The food quality was mediocre at best for the quality and quantity you get. We thought we would try this place so we didn’t have to leave resort and drive to Johnny Ds. However if you want top notch food it would be worth your while to go somewhere...
