So I happened across this place by accident to be honest, I happened to be in the North palm area with my boyfriend running errands when we thought it would be nice to find a seafood market to buy something for dinner. I live in west palm and he lives in Boca and we always go to the same markets but like discovering new places. The market is also a cafe and restaurant within a small shopping complex. We were very kindly greeted by the hosts outside who welcomed us to either take a seat on the very cute terrace or head inside to market. As soon as I walked in i knew I had found exactly the type of market I was looking for!!! They didn’t only have counter upon counter of fresh fish, but they also had a frozen and fresh section as well as a kitchen for takeout. Smoked fish dip ? Check. Filling for conch fritters? Check. Blini and caviar? Check. And they have a whole little retail area with such cute local made crafts like soaps, sauces, and then cute coastal inspired kitchen items. The employees are walking around and are so happy to help! We were going to buy a fish dip from the fridge but asked and they brought us to the kitchen where they prepared fresh dip for us. They have so many counters of fresh fish, every local fish you could desire, stone crabs, lobsters, scallops, and the people who work there are very. Knowledgeable about the seasons for each and the ça places from where the fish and seafood is sourced from. The woman at the cash was simply the sweetest. I had forgotten a bag of at the register and she literally came running out and down the parking lot to catch me before we got into the car to give me the products I had forgotten. Other patrons were asking about cooking methods and recipes all if which the empires were so happy to provide. Overall just a really great experience !!

I came there with my parents to celebrate my stepfather 88th birthday on Saturday by eating stone crabs. I brought my 6 pound maltipoo service dog with his service vest on and leash. There was only one table seated, and we intended to sit outside. Before we reached the podium, there were 3 people standing there ready to pounce. The one man said no dogs allowed. I said he is a service dog. He asked me what work does he provide, and I told him. He further told me that he wasn't a service dog and we couldn't come in. I told him I had his papers, but he didn't want to see them. The other guy kept pointing to the sign saying no dogs allowed. Only service dogs. I said he is a service dog. The man said you can't hold a service dog. Service dogs are big and not held. He needs to get familiar with his information. That's not true. They were very rude to both myself and my mother. They go to the restaurant often and we go for both their birthdays. My mother works locally in retail with a lot of people who own dogs. We will be spreading the word on our ridiculously poor treatment. We will never come back to this establishment. Response to owner: My service dog is for ptsd and anxiety and sometimes needs to be close to me. If you read, you will find this is common. My service dog was not welcome and we were rudely sent away.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. The food was great but we had terrible server named Suzan. Not only did she not introduce herself but she was rude and extremely unwelcoming the moment we sat down. She was shouting and very condescending when she took our orders and we could not even properly ask her questions because she is making us feel rushed and uncomfortable. She seemed mad and miserable. She made us feel like we shouldn’t be there because we can not afford to pay! We might have looked rugged compared to the other customers there but we work hard for our honest money to be able to try the best food but she just totally threw is off. She kept coming back to our table more than twice just to tell us where to put the shells of the crab we were eating! And when she saw my that my son was wiping his fingers to his shirt she jumped in from nowhere telling him not to do that and instead use the paper napkin. Few minutes she came back again telling my son to put the mussells shells to the bowl that she brought instead of the other plate. I understand that’s table etiquette but he’s a kid and also we can eat in whatever ways we want to because we are paying! She can act like that and tell people what to do when she’s at home not to us who were there to enjoy the food and have an awesome time. But Literally she was trying to intimidate us. That table was supposed to be our happy place but it turned out to be a nightmare. She should not be in a hospitality industry! Because of this experience, there is no chance we could be dining there again. It’s just a shame because the food was very good but to be intimidated by a server is...

We go here weekly as we love to pick our our fish and have them make it or eat the Crab Cakes which are excellent. However yesterday my husband had fish and chips and the fish tasted stale. The worst eaten in any establishment. Even the batter was old. So very surprising considering everything else was excellent. Morgan our waitress was much appreciated and kind. I should have asked her to return the Lemonade as it was bad but I was not in the mood to complain. Tough week so....anyhow. Our one pet peeve is they often have this older gent standing out front with a younger women. The younger woman wanted to help me get my mom in the car last week but the older guy stopped her. He is so callous. Also yesterday some woman who had no idea how to drive blocked the entrance going in with her car as I was trying to get my mom down it with her walker. Nobody did anything. Than the idiot in the car put it in reverse as we are behind her car. Again nobody did anything.directly at the entrance...I guess you guys are looking for an accident and a law suit?? If that stupid woman had run us over in her car on your property trust me there would have been huge issues. The level of laziness at that front desk is just sad to see. Honestly thinking of just finding another establishment to patronize. One that offers a bit of customer service...
