Ice Cream Club North Palm Beach — Restaurant in North Palm Beach

Reading these reviews, confirms I'm not the only one. The place was filthy dirty and gross. I walked in and one girl was sitting next to the cash register texting on her phone and didn't even look up. The other girl was waiting on two young boys. Nobody else was in the store. I waited in line thinking the girl at the register busy on her cell phone, was the designated cashier. Nope, she just continued to text and surf on her cell phone. Neither acknowledged me. She finally got off her stool and came over to help, after a conversation , laughing and joking with her co-worker and the two young boys, sharing photos. The girl employee conversing with the boys dropped the f-bomb about six times in the next 5 minutes. To add insult to injury, my medium cup of soft serve ice cream , was $6.50. Geez. Only worth $3.50. And, if you use a credit card they charge you a service fee, without informing you ahead of time. Had I known, I would have paid cash. Kids running the business with no regard for others or any pride in their work. Same ole, can't be bothered with doing their job or waiting on customers. It cuts into their social time and cell phone time. I will never go back to this place. And will tell others the same. God help us, we're screwed as a country. This is our future. And, the...

The employees are always very nice. Don’t believe they get paid much as we always tip 30% and they go out of their way to thank us. The ice cream is great! The reason for the 1 star review boils down to the owner/management. On multiple occasions there is a huge line in the evenings with only one employee to the point people turn around and leave. There were two people in there with a long line and one disappeared when I asked the employee they said oh that was the owner she just left. How as an owner can you just leave when there’s a long line and you’re fully aware there’s only one employee?? How is that fair or the right thing to do to your employee? or customers?? I have been to this location twice to make sure I gave it a fair chance. The first time we came and ordered a berry smoothie they added ice cream to the smoothie without telling us that ice cream would be added. My friend just wanted a berry smoothie no ice cream. They wouldn’t remake it. Then yesterday I go for a hot fudge Sunday. Thinking they would use soft serve to make it nope they used regular ice cream. They have soft serve available so not sure why he wouldn’t use soft serve. And $8 is a little ridiculous! I think they just have young kids working there that don’t know what is going on or care.
