Might be jaded from too many ACTUAL Italian joints and bistros in the big cities, but this place is a disaster by any stretch. Saw a pizza on someoneâs table and it looked passable. A huge menu, as if they could churn out half of Italy on the spot. They should take the âsteaksâ off the menu because what they serve as steak doesnât resemble the TBone description nor do they have any clue how to prepare it. Couldnât finish the contraption and just left. 2 identical dishes and 2 entrees and each had different or missing ingredients from the other and from what was bragged about being in them or as sides. Maybe ran out of tomatoes at the 1st dish? Possibly âAlfredoâ is the name of one of the guys in the kitchen because the sauce they call that didnât resemble anything that would be prepared by actual cooks/chefs. In a town with nothing else, even if youâre hungry, the Burger King across the street might be better, at least theyâre consistent. Steer clear...
Read moreWent there for the first time not knowing what to expect. The waitress didn't speak English very well but I managed to get my point across well enough. I got there a few minutes after they opened so it was very quiet and there was only 1 couple there. Ordered my drink and then my food. Waitress came out with some rolls which were very delicious. I had ordered the tortellini Alfredo and it was very good although a bit garlicky. It was very hot when I got it so it was obviously fresh. Ordered the turtle Cheesecake for dessert and while I could tell it had been prepared already (the plate was as cold as the cheesecake) it was still very good. Overall I was surprised by the quality I got for how much I paid (only about $28 including the tip). My only suggestion would be to hire staff that speak English...
Read moreWe ate on a Saturday night about 5 pm with 5 adults and a hungry 7 year old. My Ribeye with Marsala sauce and mushrooms was to die for! Service was amazing, our waitress checked in on us just the right amount of times, kept us refreshed with beverages and bread. The bread was soft, fluffy and just the right amount of butter and garlic (reminded me of homemade dinner rolls)! My grandson had spaghetti and meatballs the size of his fist and was so happy. They had Italian beer, which my husband had not had since he was stationed in Italy and it brought back good memories for him and the rest of the adults really enjoyed it as well! Will definitely be the first place we eat at again when we visit North...
