This was my first time at a Cold Stone creamery and I wasn't too impressed, however, there were other people in line so it must be popular enough. There were three people in line in front of us and it was a 17 minute wait which gave me plenty of time to read all the signs. I didn't realize that they had about 18 plain flavors of ice cream. Like a base flavor. And for everything extra you want to add in, you pay $0.89 per add-in thing. The staff then takes a couple of metal scoops, and manually squashes, folds, cuts and mixes your extras into the ice cream. This is not the fastest process, but it gives you a custom-made dessert. I just couldn't justify the price for what you got (two little scoops of plain ice cream for $11.50). I will say the texture was very smooth, had a nice mouth feel, but I wasn't getting much out of it flavor-wise. For the amount that you get for the price that you pay for the amount of time that it takes, I can't say that I would go to a Cold Stone creamery again.
