Wendy's — Restaurant in North Platte

Disclaimer; Not a food health and safety inspector, but I have experience with regulations of food service.

First off overall cleanliness is on my opinion a 2/10. No one was wearing gloves even with food handling. Every cook station was gross and dirty and seems like it hasn’t been scrubbed or cleaned in a week or so. To include with the no gloves each worker would continuously touch those dirty surfaces and their own face and proceed to handle food that is to be cooked or is to be served.

Second is with the cook station itself. I’ve noticed from the drive through condensation was forming on the overhead vent which can drip onto the food. Just by this I can tell other areas are not maintained as well.

Yes. The food taste great but this is because it’s fast food. And 90% of it is just fry/heat up to serve hot and nothing else is done. But it’s equally important to have the peace and mind knowing your food has been handled safely and is served to you without...

We stopped for lunch at Wendy's North Platte in our way home after visiting family in Nebraska. Fast service and clean eating area; but I will not return to this location. The floor behind the counter was disgusting, and I'm not writing about a few fries on the floor. There was a lot of food that fell on the floor , and the employees were stepping over it and it looked that they were just pushing it under the counters with their feet. I waited a little to see if any huge rodent was coming to grab any food. The place wasn't crowded at all, the cashier could've taken a few minutes to sweep. Not at all, during our 20 minutes stay.The young manager arrived a little later and walked all over the mess too. The employees weren't wearing nets on their hair. Previous review: Customer service continues to get worse, especially at night. I have picked up orders for other customers and have placed my own orders. For the last month, I have encountered 2 respectful employees, while the rest have been very disrespectful and would rather "chit chat" than fulfilling paying customers orders. Delivery drivers are having to wait anywhere from 10 minutes - 1.5 hours for customers' orders after 10 pm and are even forced to go through the drive-thru multiple times, when picking up multiple delivery orders, that should already be ready to be picked up by the time they get there.
