Antolino's Pizza — Restaurant in North Port

Antolino's is literally trash, and anyone with a brain can immediately tell before they even put a slice of pizza into their mouths.

This place uses cheap ingredients- there's no denying that; and you can SEE it.

The owner's typically reply to reviews with nonsense copes like, "i GueSs SoMe PeoPLe JuSt hAvE diFfErEnT TasTeS.." - that's bull. This place sucks.

The reason that this place has any traction is because there's barely any local restaurants around this area. What you do have, is like Antolino's- scraping by by fooling it's elderly residents with tasteless slop.

You'll read that this place uses a blend of cheeses- that sounds great! In reality, they're using a handful of pre-shredded cheeses, loaded with starch and preservatives. In combination with an extremely poor quality low-moisture mozzarella, the result is a amalgamed paste that is like a sheet of wallpaper on top of the sauce.

You can actually peel the cheese in it's entirety, a full layer and it will just fall off of a slice.

This place is no better than a Totino's party pizza with some shaken italian seasoning over it.

You don't have to have my full legal name, my social security number, and my mother's maiden name to have tried your pizza, multiple times, bud.

I have lived in Northport now for 17 years and for the first time and I can’t even remember how long we have a new pizza join in town that is absolutely stellar. Yeah, I understand that these guys come they go and I can’t promise that these guys won’t be that guy too, however, I will say that they have made the best pizza for me three times in a row now and I just started buying pies from them just in the last two weeks. Everyone of them have been consistently perfect. Ingredients from edge to edge! Great quality ingredients , and made with the greatest degree of pride. Nobody told me to write this review and I typically don’t even write reviews, but I have to tell everybody that would hopefully read it that this place is a must do! Really wanted to love this pizza… The pics from many of the reviews led me to believe I would however, the pizza I had on Monday night was not what I expected… The sauce was underwhelming and although I get it that it is from an original recipe I was anticipating more flavor… the sausage lacked flavor as well, I was hoping for a more fennel based taste and the sizes of the pinched pieces were never bigger than that of a thumbtack comparable to a crumbled hamburger topping… the crust was quite tasty and cooked to a nice crisp and the provolone cheese was tasty as well although a bit lacking in quantity… I will try the pizza again as I think perhaps it was just a fluke and I’m hoping for the best as I really believe you guys are on the right track… Your service was good and your kitchen was very...
