Quality TV came out to install our Waveform MIMO 4x4 (for internet) and WeBoost (for cell phones) antenna systems on Feb 20, 2022.
We now have wifi speeds from our Arcadyan cellular gateway in excess of 300 mbs down (formerly 20's-40's) and 9 mbs up (formerly 5). This translates to HD streaming on our big screen TV. What a picture!! The Waveform out did my expectations.
Our cell phones now have 2-3 bars inside the house (used to have 0-1) and WITHOUT wifi assist we are seeing high 20's mbs down, 4 mbs up. That is FOUR times better on straight cellular than we had before the WeBoost antenna install. When wifi assist is turned on using the improved wifi system, our cell phones speeds are 300/6-7mbs with pings in the 30 to 40ms. Not only can we make calls inside our home, but we can use our phones as hot spots.
Mike's Quality TV family business has a strong commitment to serve his community. He is keen to serve the needs of rural households like ours who live on both sides of the Myakka River and have no options to get stable broadband internet or cell signals inside their home. Every interaction has been pleasant and professional, from my first email to Mike, then meeting with Alex at the store to identify possible solutions, and ending with Brian coming out for a "signal check" and need based installation.
Brian's knowledge and experience is top tier. His communication style is clear and understandable. He not only installed both exterior antennas, he also disassembled the Arcadyan cellular gateway and connected the 4 terminations coming off the Waveform's cable. He had the foresight to organize his workload so that the gateway was able to complete it's hour long cycle checks which meant Brian could tweak the directional aim of the external panel to capture the best cellular signals. We had on LTE band before the install. After install we also have 5G band n71. Together they are giving us internet speeds we never could have imagined and pings well under 50ms that allows us to run our VOIP home phone system.
We no longer deal with the daily stress of not being able to place and receive health care phone calls. It's a great feeling to know that in an emergency we can now dial 911 from our home. Being able to stream entertainment without buffering and the ability to Zoom with our family across the US is icing on the cake.
We are so looking forward to our next appointment of installing a TV antenna.

We were met by Michael who assessed and listened to our needs. He then meticulously guided us through his recommendations never trying to sell us more than we desired or required. On the install, Michael was joined by Brian who is clearly one of the most knowledgable service techs I've met in my 10 years of retirement. The camera and fire alarm install was followed by an easy to follow primer on how to use each capability with our smartphones. They walked both my wife and I through this valuable training. What also stood out about Quality TV's obvious commitment to customer service and their desire to build long-term relationships with their customers, was that our remodeling contractor inadvertently placed the TV mount lower than it should have been. Michael and Brian identified and returned with a solution a week later and placed the 83" TV perfectly. Before leaving this service call, which cost me nothing, these two high-character men noticed how Best Buy who previously installed a big screen TV in another room left unsightly cables and power cords dangling down the wall in another room. They voluntarily installed an outlet behind the TV, hid our home router and all cables behind the TV, and left a much improved appearance.    Read moreWe needed a CCTV system set up at our home due to some security issues and our current “popular” system wasn’t cutting it. I contacted several places and got various quotes. While there were some excellent options out there we wanted the best. There is nothing more important than the security of our family, our home, and our peace of mind. We decided on Quality TV for this task. I met with Mike, the owner, the morning after reaching out after hours to the company via FB. He was understanding of our concerns and assured me his company was more than capable of giving us the quality product and service we needed. He came to do a walk-through and was extremely knowledgeable/security minded. It was very reassuring and I knew we were in the best hands with Quality TV. He sent us the estimate for the project we discussed and we put down our 50% to get the ball rolling. We were able to schedule the installment within the week and Brian and Michael were extremely polite, professional and worked nonstop even in the horrible heat and rain to get the job done. Mike came by during and at the end to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction and didn’t stop until every single thing was perfect! This company has been around for 50 years and it shows why in the quality & level of service to their customers. I wish I had known about them 3 years ago when we bought our house here.
