This property is infested with insects. the curtain does not stretch completely across the length of the window and someone cut much of the bottom off which further allows anyone passing by to look in the room. The odor is indescribable, the tub is filthy with stains, the outlets are missing covers the microwave is stained and filthy. If you look closely at the towels hanging in the bathroom you will see the presence of stains and ding. The AC was not working and the floor had hair from a previous guest and dead insects. I also requested a king bed but the room I received was a Full/Queen. The management refused to acknowledge that the current condition of the property is not reflective of the pictures submitted to the Hotels.com website. I contacted Hotels.com customer service to get support with reasoning with the manager but they told me they cannot authorize a refund without the approval of the manager. I was placed on a brief hold and the csr came back on the line and said he became angry and refused to authorize the refund. The manager began shouting at me when I requested a refund. He said I requested a smoking room which is why the room smelled bad. I told him I did not request a smoking room and I opened the email to show him the confirmation I received from Hotels.com indicating that I selected a non-smoking King. He continued shouting as I attempted to show him the condition of the room via the pictures and video. When I observed that he was not willing to authorize the refund, I told him that I will contact my bank to have the charge refunded and I had no other choice but to post a review with pictures and video for thE benefit of other unsuspecting travelers, he replied, “I don’t care, we have ways of...
Read moreI found this place when all others were booked solid for the Memorial Day weekend! The rooms were relatively clean and comfortable with BASIC amenities. As advertised - it IS America's Best "Value" Inn...
I suppose, the place being under new management, that the Indian national family running the place is making due as best they can, to make the place work. The beds were so soft and fluffy, I couldn't sleep, save sitting in the very comfortable, although heavily worn computer chair at the desk, feet propped up on the bed, all night.
The towels in the bathroom were very limited and did have stains on them, however, the room was impeccably clean and the A/C worked incredibly efficiently. There were other people, loud and raucous, as guests, but that happens anywhere one stays. With the over 500 channels on the television in my room, I didn't really have time to scrutinize every negative detail of my room.
When I arrived, having called earlier and had them "hold" a room, they wouldn't take a credit card and insisted on cash, pointing me to the obligatory ATM machine in the corner, which had a minimal $3.50 fee. All in all, my experience was pleasant, both with staff and amenities, and I am able to see they are trying to make it work on a shoestring budget.
In time, this place can (will?) be an amazing hotel experience, however, I strongly suggest ownership seek a large bank loan to fix the place up and pay it off over time, because, the many negative reviews are not helping the place start producing the income they are hoping it does. Perhaps staff with a better grasp of the English language could also improve interactions with guests and smooth over any ruffled feathers.

Read moreIf there was an option to leave negative stars, then I certainly would! This place charges $84 a night and it is not worth it at all. As soon as we checked in and opened the fridge, there was a cockroach! Our bed sheets had cigarette burn holes in them, the room had a musty odor, toilet was not cleaned and bathtub was full of hair. Linda, at the front desk is a horrible woman. She is very rude to guests who have spent alot of money to stay at this place. We were treated rudely by her on many different occasions and witnessed her treat other people rudely as well. I will never understand why she has the position at the front desk. The owners are beyond horrible. They treat guests poorly, do not attend to issues that arise, and seem to thrive on creating drama for guests. I have small children and there were many safety issues during my stay there. There are quite a few missing rail pieces upstairs that pose a huge safety issues as a small child can easily slip through them. The laundry facilities do not work as advertised. The majority of the time there is not any hot water. When brought to the attention of the owners, they shrug it off and do not do anything to correct the problem. We did not have a working smoke detector in our room, this was also ignored when brought to the attention of the owners. Our tub would not drain (same issue in a couple of different rooms). They work their employees in trade for staying in rooms there. Those who are paid, get paid under the table. There are many safety and code violations with this hotel. I do not recommend staying here at all. It is a complete waste of money to be treated horribly...
