First off I would like to just say I have worked in this industry for quite some time and I know how Pizza places operate and I am familiar with how pizza delivery works. On Tuesday, May 14, 2019 I placed an order online at 7:55pm. Itâs stated it would be 45 minutes. At 8:45pm I checked the app and it said my order was out on delivery. At 9:00pm I called the store and spoke to a man (who I later found out was the owner) who told me my food was out on delivery. At 9:15pm I finally received my food. The food was incredibly greasy as well as the boxes it was packaged in. The food was also cold. I looked at the delivery ticket and it was time stamped 8:10pm. What this means is my food was coming out of the oven and ready for delivery at 8:10 and I didnât get it until 9:15. My food sat somewhere for over an hour!!! Being as it was already past 9:00 and I was in for the night I went ahead and ate some of the cold pizza and attempted the cheesy bread. The cheesy bread became hard from where it sat so long. The more I thought about it the more upset I got. It wasnât just the long wait time but a combination of everything. The next day I called Hungry Howies 4 times!!!! The first time no one answered.. the remaining 3 times it was the same person who couldnât âhelpâ me. I was told I needed to speak with the manager/owner, who was out taking deliveries. I was told there was no manager/shift leader in store. On the final call this same person questioned where the food was from the night before and if I ate it??? I told them I had ate some of it, and thatâs how I knew it was cold and the cheesy bread was hard. I told them that part of it was in my refrigerator.. I was never asked to bring it back. I told this person at this point I wanted a full refund!!!! The person said they couldnât help me and I needed to speak with the owner, who was still out on deliveries! I told this person I was just going to call corporate and they said âok, go aheadâ as if they could care less. I then called corporate and filed a complaint with them and was told they would have someone contact me.. that was last Wednesday. Itâs now Tuesday and I havenât heard from anyone. I called corporate again and this time was told that the owner responded to my original complaint that I wouldnât get a refund because I didnât return the food.. corporate also informed me they couldnât/wouldnât do anything because the stores are all franchises and can make their own policies... I will NEVER order from them again!!! And I suggest you...

This was hands down the most disgusting and unpleasant experience Iâve ever had with any pizza delivery company.
I placed an order totaling $130. When my order was delivered, I immediately noticed two missing items: a 2-liter Mountain Dew and an order of wings. I called the store to report it, only to be told they couldnât redeliver the missing items because they were âabout to close in 30 minutes.â
As I tried to explain my frustration, I was hung up on.
I called back to ask how the issue would be resolved and was told, âYouâll get a refund,â followed by another hang-up. No apology. No explanation. Nothing.
Then the next morningâJuly 7âI wake up to find that instead of being refunded, I was charged an additional $116. My bank confirmed this was a real charge, not a pending transaction or refund adjustment.
I called the store again and spoke with Chris, who said the manager would call me back. After waiting 30 minutes with no call, I called again and was met with a sarcastic, dismissive attitude that made things even worse.
At no point was I rude, used profanity, or yelled. I was understandably upset, but remained respectful. Yet Iâve received no refund, no resolution, and no apologyâjust more hang-ups and disrespect.
If this is how the manager behaves, itâs no wonder the staff acts the same way. There is zero customer service, accountability, or care at this location.
I will never order from here again and strongly recommend others do the same. The way this entire situation was handled...
   Read moreI wish I could give negative stars. We ordered because they do delivery and didn't want to leave the house. We ordered in the app. Ordering was a breeze. But apparently they have no clue what food you can order online versus what they actually sell.. we ordered a Buffalo Mac and cheese and it's suppose to come with Howie bread so I didn't order an extra thing of Howie bread I was gonna eat my husband side he was suppose to get. We got our food about a 50-60 waiting for delivery due to them not actually having any delivery drivers and having to rely on door dash drivers. We called the store to let them know we didn't get bread. They were apologetic and offered to make us some but we'd have to go get it or refunding us the bread. But when I asked how they were going to do that because it was part of getting another item. The shift manager began to get rude and tell me the Buffalo Mac and cheese does NOT come with bread. I tried to explain that it does and that I'm looking at the app where it says it does! He continued to pretty much call me a liar. I eventually got mad and louder (I don't like being called a liar in any way) he yelled something and hung up. Poor management. Horrible customer service and you don't even know what you sell!!!!
