After moving from Miami to Port Charlotte, I was searching for an authentic Colombian restaurant nearby-and I'm so glad I found Que-Rico Colombian Flavors! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, just like a traditional Colombian spot back in Miami. The food was absolutely delicious! The empanadas were crispy and flavorful, the bandeja paisa was cooked to perfection, and the fresh juices transported me straight to Colombia. The service was friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even better. If you're looking for authentic Colombian cuisine in North Port, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

Food was great I’m 100% coming back and definitely recommend giving this place a try. The food tasted delicious and was cooked to perfection. The staff was so sweet and friendly and was checking on us to see how we enjoyed the food. It was great we got a platter with a few different meats, rice, beans, eggs and plántanos (we split this because we were told it was a lot to eat on your own and they were right lol). We also ordered an appetizer the loaded tostones which could be a meal it’s self it was so delicious and we loved every bit of it.

As the name implies... delicious!!! The restaurant is small and a large group came in right before us so we were prepared to have to wait for our order. Wrong! Hot, deliciousness was sitting in front of us within minutes. Also, I wasn't super hungry and when the food came it was a large plateful. Yes people, I ate the entire plate of the best tasting shredded pork I've ever eaten. I was looking to see what everyone was ordering and it all looked pretty amazing. We will 100% be back. As an added bonus, it also didn't cost $100 for 2 people to have lunch (which seems to be the norm anymore). Actually, $33 which included 2 entrees, 1 tres leches cake and some bottled water. I don't eat restaurant foods often. I like my own cooking and can't afford to eat out. When I decide I'm going to kick the budget Que Rico is one of the two restaurants that cook do much better than I do that it's worth it I've been treating myself to their cooking for about 8 years now. And I've never been disappointed. They not only cook amazing food, they put up with my hesitation and indecision. Since I only eat out over every year or so I want to get something really special. They never try to push something I don't want. They ask questions and listen to my answers. And describe how each dish is cooked. All this while assisting other people who actually know...
