This is the second time I was sold spoiled shrimp. I have been going the for years. They know I know what fresh seafood is supposed to smell and taste like. The first time I bought Bad shrimp they were apologetic and gave me the same amount of fresh frozen shrimp to replace my purchase. It happens ...right?. Now this time I asked the tall guy about freshness giving what happened last time. He assured me it was fresh. Well not so much....I brought the contaminated shrimp back with one piece in plastic wrap so they could smell it. The stink in my car was awful. It's a 1/2 mile trip. This time the server was less apologetic stating that they are only human and tried to let me know that hey sold me spoiled sh rimp again. He said that nobody twisted my arm to buy. I said we'll I won't be back anymore and the arrogant s.o.b said ... sure you willl... surprise 😮 I won't be back.... also if you knew what that kitchen looks like that they prepare you Friday night fish and chips you would go...

Although the fish is still incredible (very authentic thin crisp breading, just like I’ve had in the UK!) the chowder recipe seems to have changed. Both red and white chowders are delicious, with the white chowder being exceptional. Good amount of clams in clam cakes and chowder, not too doughy. Also tried the take and bake stuffies and some fish filets. Prices are very fair and wait time is never too long. This place feels like your neighborhood market. Every time we come in, folks are friendly and make us feel welcome. Captains Catch is my go-to...

I made some yummy sushi for dinner and all was well! The salmon had skin on but was descaled. This is great if you like crisping up the skin but hate descaling (like me).
I just moved to the area and am very happy that this place is nearby. Prices are competitive with grocery stores but the quality is way better. I will be visiting this place a lot. I will also update this review if I have a different experience.
Edit: Been here a few times now for sushi grade fish. Always fresh. The tuna is mild in flavor but good. The salmon is great! Separately, I got some shrimp which cooked...
