Heav'nly Donuts — Restaurant in North Reading

My fiance and I went here for the first time today, and will not be back. We walked in and the place was dead. We were not expecting much for 4pm at a doughnut shop, but should've apparently expected less. I've never had a barista be so disinterested in the interaction of serving a customer, and I AM one. I work night shifts doing the same thing, and would never once let my performance sink to this level. We asked for two doughnuts which we had to repeat multiple times the flavors of. Nothing was labeled anyway, so we were pretty much guessing. Fiance asked for a coffee of a certain flavor, apparently we should've specified that it's normal to mix sugar into a cold coffee rather than leave it in a brick on the bottom. He wanted a hot coffee but was so fed up at that point he saw no reason to complain. I live off my tips, I pay my tips forward to those who do the same. I didn't do that here nor will I in the future. Like I said, maybe it was too much to expect of a doughnut shop at 4pm, but it didn't need to be like kidney surgery to procure coffee...

Looked online to make sure they were open so I could grab a gift card. Online said they were open until 4pm, so I drove by at 3pm to find them closed with no signs anywhere saying that they're closing. While I'm waiting in the drive thru the 2 employees come out to do the trash and just wave to myself and 3 other cars signing that they're closed, while showing how annoyed they are because we're in the drive thru. I really don't understand how everyone loves this place when they never communicate properly to customers of when they're closing early and continously hire teenagers that give attitude due to their own lousy work behavior. There's literally always an issue when I try to go here on the very rare occasions that...

I've only ever had issues at this location. Their location in Dracut is much more consistent. The donut I had was very dry like it had been sitting for a few days. My biggest issue though is playing the guessing game of whether or not they are open as advertised. If you look up this location on Google, it states they are open until 7. Showed up a little after 6 once to find a sign of their hours posted saying they close at 6pm. Not too big of a deal, we're all human and maybe they haven't had a chance to update the website yet or maybe it was summer hours... Today I visit, a few minutes before 4pm, and there's a sign on the door saying "Closed at 4pm." Whenever I'm in town, I'm just going to...
