Aurelio's Pizza of Griffith — Restaurant in North Township

According to their menu, they have thin crust and stuffed pizza. I ordered a stuffed pizza a couple weeks ago and it was great. Ordered one today and it was horrible. No red sauce on top. All it was is crust and cheese with a super thin layer of sauce under the cheese. I called and explained the problem and the first lady I spoke with was super nice and said that there should be a thick layer of sauce on top. She said they'd make a new pizza and send it over. Almost an hour later, I got a call from a different woman saying she's the manager and asked me what the problem was. She sounded angry from the start. I explained everything and she told me I ordered deep dish, not stuffed. I said you don't even have deep dish on the menu. She yelled for someone to bring her a menu and then agreed they don't have deep dish on the menu but said it's what I ordered so that's what they gave me. She argued with me for 5 minutes. I asked her name and she refused to give it to me. She said she'd give me a $20 credit but I wanted a credit on the visa I used and she claims they don't have the ability to credit back money. She told me at least 3 times that she's been manager for 8 years....yet she didn't know that if deep dish was or wasn't on the menu and doesn't know how to credit back a card. I called back and a different worker told me the manager's name is Christina. Someone needs to train Christina about the menu and teach her some customer service skills. We'll never order from here again...

Whoever the female manager was on Sunday August 8th DESERVES A RAISE! I recieved my order wrong -instructions to be left on porch-specifically... everything was all messed up, items missing/wrong,etc.. I called in like a total Mama bear since my sleeping baby was awoken by the delivery... so let me tell you, the manager was so kind,patient, empathetic, even with the way she defended the staffs mistakes! She remade the order herself, threw in extras as apologies, texted me an apology! And then delievered it herself! Simply amazing. Thank you so much sincerely (I wish I knew her name) I actually cried and felt like the biggest jerk after she went above & beyond what she needed to do, just to accommodate my complaints & all the extra things she did.... even though the customer service was my absolute favorite part. The food that was remade & delivered was PERFECT. Pizza was Hot, fresh, cheesy, zucchini sticks fried perfectly. Cookies were the best...

We had our mother’s 80th Bday party Sat from 12p-3p for 40 ppl in their banquet room with plenty of room to move around & talk to family who some haven’t seen ea other in years. The customer service was fantastic. We had everything we asked for & as we added to that list, our waitress was beyond amazing. And all with a smile. The pizza & salads were fantastic as usual. It made this beautiful day for locals & travelers even more enjoyable. Thank you all who worked so hard. Your kindness & dedication has not gone unnoticed.
