Very Rude. Asked them to make my pizza at a certain time to be made because another person was to pick it up after they left work. But I was not sure when they would pick up the pizzaās and I didnāt want my pizzaās sitting on the oven for to long, so I asked a young male there to make my pizzas last minute, which was at 6pm so it gives more then enough time for the other to pick my pizzas up fresh out the oven. The worker made a big issue about it and was snotty about making my pizzas at a specific time and told me they will have my pizzas ready by 6pm, I told him thatās not what I asked you. I said I donāt know exactly when the other person I had come to pick up my pizzas would come. The young worker had to have another response, he said the pizzas will be ready around that time. I donāt see the problem with what I asked them to do and I talked to the manager who was just as snotty as the worker. Well the person I had sent to get my pizzas decided to leave earlier from there work to get to the pizza place, which they arrived and asked for the pizzas at 6:08pm to see if the pizzas were laying on the oven or still in the oven as it should have been like the manager said. But I get a call that my pizzas were already ready and on the oven and when they opened one of the pizzas to feel and see if it had been sitting awhile & just what I asked the manager what not to do, they did. I will never order from this place again. Its sad a pizza that I ordered and loved my whole life has people working for them that can give two shi@s and can easily disregard a simple request. Those workers did that on purpose because a simple request is to hard for them to follow thru with & me expressing my want not in a disrespectful way but a firm and respectful way was to much for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mom likes to tell me that When I was a little girl... roughly about 27-30 years ago, I would get so excited for pizza night. The doorbell would ring and according to my mom I would squeal "the pizza man is here!" And I would chase my dad to the door shouting "pizza pizza pizza is here". Dad always insisted on Barton's. (I absolutely forgot this for years and only recently my mom told me this story after I told her how good Barton's was.. joke was on me, she knew. )
Sometime after that my parent's got divorced and we stopped having weekly pizza nights and when we did, it was the cheap cardboard stuff from dominos and I lost that golden childhood glow and excitement for pizza. Basically - I forgot about this place.
Now I'm married with a kid of my own and I made my husband try every pizza place I could find looking for that same taste of my childhood pizza nights. Last year I did and it is exactly as good as I had built it up in my head those days back when I was a little girl. Now however I also now know how fabulous the appetizers are and they have this magical pickle pizza that hits the spot. ⤠Thanks for being excellent all...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePizza SNOB here. I faithfully bought my pizzas @ Raydee Magoo's @ Hobart for a decade until they started getting lazy and producing inconsistent pies. Driving to Hammond allowed me to find this Pizza which is a pie I literally can find no criticisms on. Bronkos Crown Point was both of these place's predecessors but again inconsistent, change of owners, etc. This same guy appears to have owned the joint for years. Their Oven is ancient looking! (WHICH IS A GOOD THING IN PIZZA WORLD) I have tried almost every pizza joint in Northwest Indiana. This place has the best pie, and no one among my more eastern NWI friends make the drive to come out. It is an unknown hole in the wall except to locals. This is the best pizza current to date. Jumbo feeds a Hungry Family, unless I am in...
