I'm so sorry but the birria from here is not that great, and they take FOREVER to bring you the food. I have been there 2 times already and both times there were like 7 people dining in at most and they still take a long time to bring you the food. We got there at 2:00 and did not get our food until 2:45.They don’t offer chips or tostadas like other birria places. The birria dishes are really small as well. The staff did not bother to ask if we needed anything both I and another table had to yell out to the server to bring us spoons or extra salsa. Save your money and head like 5 mins north to birria Ocotlán on 106th St. Chicago. The service is fast they offer tostadas and the flavor is unbeatable! The portions are larger and you get a lot more for your money! And the waiters are CONSTANTLY checking to see what you need. Chelas over all takes way too long for something that has been made ahead of time and it’s more expensive with very poor service. The server on several occasions was in the kitchen messing around instead of checking what the customers needed. And I do say customers because I was not the only one who needed something from them. Never bothering to...
Read moreDo not recommend. About a year ago, I saw a tiktok recommending this place and so my family and I decided to try it out today. It took about 30 minutes for us to receive our food. My mom’s lengua taco (first pic) was extremely hard, dry, and had no flavor. She couldn’t finish it because it the stiffness left a bad taste in her mouth. My steak taco (second pic) meat wasn’t bad but they only gave me a pinch of cilantro. The salsa had no flavor whatsoever and was watery. They also give you a tiny slice of lime so the taco just felt like it had no flavor despite the cilantro, salt, and lime. Apparently, if you ask for more cilantro and lime they charge you extra. I didn’t try the birria tacos but my dad did and he said it’s decent but not amazing. As for the cleanness of the place, horrible. There was a table behind me that had dirty plates on it when we came in and when we left it was still the same. As customers came and left, no one was picking up the plates or cleaning the table. There was only one waiter. Overall, I don’t recommend coming to this place. I’m not sure if today was just a bad day for them or if this is how it usually is but there’s much better...
Read moreFood was good but only what they have. I asked for guacamole and it didn't come just the food so when I asked what happened to the guacamole I was told that they didn't have any. Now if that was told to me in the beginning I would have gone to a different restaurant. The young lady at the register apologized and said that the avocados weren't ripe enough but she would check and see if she could take a look and see if any were good enough to cut, which was okay with me but she never came back and told me. I never got the avocados. The bathrooms were messy there's a sign saying not to flush toilet paper so what was I supposed to do with it? There were 3 young ladies working there and that includes the one at the register but only one of them was actually working the other 2 were standing around the end of the counter, when I went to the bathroom I seen why they were hanging out there because there were 2 young police officers sitting down eating over there. It was really cold in there as well and the waitress that took our order didn't understand english. I will not recommend this restaurant to any...
