Fat Sam's Philly Steaks — Restaurant in North Township

Pls Don’t Go To This Place!! Located in Hammond, Indiana. I first decided to try them out back in Dec.2023. I got their catfish fillet dinner, it was pretty good,. then i went back a few wks later tried shrimp basket, it wasn’t that good, tiny almost popcorn size with garlic bread, fries, cole slaw, cocktail sauce. Who need all that with tiny little shrimp. Then the killing part is i went back for a catfish fillet dinner and an Italian beef combination sandwich. I sit there in the drive- thru watching these two young guys working so extra fast. I thought to myself that my food might not be right. Sure enough it was a very salty sandwich that my guy couldn’t eat his sandwich at all. My fries was so greasy, the fish greasy falling apart and undercooked. Although I've frequently here many times and have never had an issue with the service...that all changed today. After ordering a Chicago style polish, I was prompted to proceed to the window to pay and receive my order. I was promptly given the receipt, to sign. Within seconds, the girl both returned with my order and came to retrieve the signed receipt. The orders never come that fast; there's always a 4-5 minute wait. Normally, when I receive my food it is piping hot. This time, not only were the fries cool..I was also given a cool Chicago style hotdogs instead of the polish I had asked for. Apparently, the attending girl decided to pawn some order that someone decided not to get off on me. She could at least heated it AND made it what I had ordered....

we spent nearly $60 here for just three people. we asked for grilled onions with our gyro plate and with it already being $15 for the gyro plate you think they wouldn’t charge an extra $2 for them but they did, so we had her take it off at the window since she didn’t tell us when we were ordering and she had an AWFUL attitude after we told her grilled onions isn’t worth a $17 gyro. go figure. then we had gotten 2 hotdogs for 9$ and when I tell you I took my first bite out of them it was absolutely TERRIBLE. I mean this is rotten and spoiled and disgusting.
