Used to be great food..used to have great service. Food often spoiled, rotten, old, redunked in grease to warm up again. Food was never like this before. When you say something about they say no, you're wrong, this is in fact how it looks. That this is how the cook makes it. Well, then I guess it is his coking that makes his corn beef dark brown, corn beef is pinkish red, in every other place on Earth. The fries were old, dried, hard, reduced in dirty grease. As a grill cook with 28 years of experience I can say with ease that they are reducing fries. The coffee was old and burned tasting. My sister got a job here to try and make the atmosphere better again and the waitresses said those tables are mine, these are my regulars you can't serve them, and pushed her out of the way. They did not rotate tables to ensure fairness among team members. This was once a huge piece of this community. Now, it is a waste of time, money, and even effort of going out to eat. Rubbery frozen burgers. The cheap burgers that have that funky taste. Lumpy gravy with no flavor. Brown eggs. What happened here? I used to come here twice a day three or four times a week. I have not even stopped in as an iconic place because the food and service is so bad. I was once a strong regular, who brought friends and family in. I miss the business they used to be. I miss the level of care they used to have. I miss the waitress that were there. Once they left so did everything else, slowly dying, slowly letting itself die. It is sad to watch. Where is Renee? How come she...

Read moreFirst, the seating is comfortable, though older. The interior has an old-fashioned "homey" feel, which I enjoy. The walls have paintings and decorated mirrors, which give added flair. Next, I love the mural on the wall, which I used a Panorama shot for you to see. I could look at serene paintings like that all day. Next, the food was good. I ordered a Reuben sandwich, which came with crisp, golden-brown, thick-cut potato fries. The Reuben also came with a small cup of coleslaw, which wasn't overpowering. The Reuben also came with a dill pickle slice, which I enjoyed, though the brand wasn't quite what I'm accustomed to. It was good, but I'm used to the "Mt. Olive" brand's flavor, and this was different. The Reuben sandwich itself was quite good. The bread had been lightly toasted, so it was crisp, but not hard as a rock. The meat was good, also, and the sauerkraut made a good combination of flavors. I've had Reuben sandwiches that were much worse....
