Venice Pizza — Restaurant in North Township

This place gets one star, only for the courteous customer service. They were very polite and I can appreciate that. When I picked the pizza up, I told my cousin I was kind of skeptical about what the reviews posted, because I didn’t even smell a pizza parlor when I walked into this restaurant. So we got the “party pizza”, with sausage/cheese, half with pineapples, spinach, and jalapeños to the house. There were very little sausages on the side of the pizza with everything on it, they place jarred pickled jalapeños on the pizza (not fresh), the spinach didn’t seem to be fresh neither and it wasn’t much sauce. I truly feel sorry for these people that actually leave amazing reviews for this restaurant, because that means two things… one, these people have never truly had a pizza party in their mouths if their tastebuds tell them that this is good pizza, and two, they are leaving amazingly false reviews for a restaurant that has horrible pizza, inviting people that actually have experienced pizza parties in their mouths. The only reason u even got a star from me. So that i can discuss my situation so that everyonese sees how ignorant you people are. Ordered about 3 times a week from this place foods great the custoner service sucks. The lady answers the phone like shes ready to kill herself. Y treat other ppl with disrepect cause you hate your job. Then you tell me my pizzas gonna about 45 mins. Dont forget this is not just once. I just drew the straw on the last one. My pizza came well over 2 and a half hours after my order!!! Got told twice my pizza was just coming out of the oven. I will never order from here again. 1 deluvery driver. You guys are the worst pizza place ever. Offered me 5 dollars off. My pizza shld have been free. Still tipped your driver. And i was told a 10 dollar coupon on my next delivery. How this place has a 4-star really surprises me. My experience is more like a 1.5-star but the delivery guy came all the way to the top floor of my hotel to deliver my pizza and it arrived just short of an hour, so I rounded up. First, the employee/customer service was poor - the lady who answered the phone seemed angry, like taking my order was an inconvience to her, and it was the same attitude with the delivery guy. Second, was the pizza quality - I ordered their meat lovers (more on the expensive side but still fair price) and when I opened the pizza box all I saw was pepperoni on top of mozzarella. After I took a bite I realized the other meats were beneath the cheese. When you put raw meats (besides ham) under the cheese they are undercooked and don’t have the chance to crisp up so it’s just soggy and bland. In every bite all I could taste was mozerella. And the crust was cooked well but just tasted like flour. The current 4-star rating is misleading because what I got was a 0.5-star pizza.
