Kennedy House of Pancakes (K-Hop) — Restaurant in North Township

Horrible and filthy experience today. Took my family to breakfast there today for the first time. We got through breakfast okay but following our meal and heading back to my son's basketball tournament in Hammond, we discovered I had a brown stain on the back of my white shirt and shorts. Definitely was coffee. Come to find out my cousin also had a stain on the back of her pants, t-shirt and shirt....also coffee. We immediately went back to restaurant to notify management and they had the nerve to suggest we went somewhere else and picked up the stains to merely go back to the restaurant and blame them. I have so much more important things to do with my time. The arrogant and incompetent manager said they clean the booths after every serving and wiped his hands on the back pad. Clearly it was in the seat in between the seat and back pads. Refused to pay for our dry cleaning or provide a credit for a future meal to keep the business. Terrible. Would not go there ever again. Eat at your own risk and bring a change of clothes. Filthy. Clean your restaurant KHOP. It's indicative of a larger cleaning...

First time dinner here. Past this place a few times and decided to stop in and give it a try. Boy, was I glad I did. Had the feel of a cozy diner. The staff was great. Attentive and pleasant. I went on a Sunday, and got there just before the rush, so we didn't wait to sit. Our order was taken fast, and the food was served hot and fresh. My order was accurate and the waitress stopped by a few times to check in on me. The food... Delicious! I ordered the special with eggs, sausage, bacon, and pancakes. I opted for the banana pecan pancakes for an upcharge, and I didn't regret it. The pancakes were devine. They were home made with bananas and pecans inside the pancakes, not on top. They were cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. And the price... What a deal! I will definitely be going back a lot more often and telling my friends and...

Usually, I'm starving in the morning, and my only options for a very early morning breakfast are fast food restaurants that charge too much. Thank goodness Kennedy House of Pancakes is open too! The atmosphere is very friendly - people actually talk to one another! The service is fantastic, the food is reasonably priced, and tastes good. I've been a customer here and there over the years, but due to my work schedule, I've been going more frequently. I've never had a bad experience either. It's not a big restaurant, and the construction on Kennedy is irritating - people turn into the parking lot the wrong way to take a shortcut.
