8/18/22 Update: So I tried again, 11 months later. I'm not sure if this was just a fluke or a complete 180, but service, speed, food were all excellent. Everything tastes fresh, packaged correctly, and served quickly. Great job to the lunch shift today!!!
Tends to be slow, items unavailable, missing items from drive thru orders, and it has been closed twice recently. Had to edit 8/14.... now the pop machines are down. 12/30 they have been closed 6 times since my last edit. Wonder if the owner knows they seem to close many nights around 1-3am.... 1/22 They just can't get orders right or the whole order out the window. This has increasingly become the worst location I have went to and I'm from Chicago. 2/2 1:15am: WOW! Super impressed tonight. It was like a completely different crew. Not one thing to complain about. Congrats to mgmt on getting it together. 2/19 2:10am: I gave them credit too quickly. Again, they are closed. Lights lit up but 'system is down'. This location has more issues between 1-3am that most locations have for the whole year. 7/3/19 12:57am : the girl at the pickup window just glanced at me, pushed the bag out the window, and shut it. I know what to expect here so I checked my food. One of my sandwiches was a mess. The wrappers on both looked like a little kid had balled then up around the sandwiches. Lol One burger was such a mess that when I opened it, half the stuff started sliding out. The wrapper was covered in stuff too. 7/21 2:58pm: Really. An old side salad that was dated for yesterday. smh This place just cannot seem to get right. Check everything from this place. 9/17 3:30pm: WHY are Yall like this??!! The orders are always wrong. This is the worst location I have ever been due to the constant lack of quality and I work in Chicago. Yall are just terrible. Simple order. McDouble with extra onion. I get a McDouble with no onions and about 12 pickles. Smh I worked McDonald's years ago, opening/closing etc and seriously, the job is not this complicated. I am just so unreasonably angry...
Read moreI pulled into MacDonald on Columbia avenue in hammond indiana, when I got to the menu board a voice came over the speaker and mentioned to pull to the second window and they would take my order! After setting behind 3 autos I managed to arrive at the second window, I was told that they could take my order and that I had to go back around through the line to place what I needed to order! I told them that I was going! to set there until they decided to give me what I had to pick up! After some time they did take my order and I found out that after my arrived at my destination that the order was not correct! I had also requested that I would like 2 hashbrown in a sperate bag when they handed me the order I sat for a while waiting for the hash brown I finally asked where the 2 were at and they told me they put it all in the same order! They did hand me a bag and suggested that I put the2 in it myself, I sasked them to do so! Having handing them the bag and them handing it back and as I was leaving the window a young man stated that he had licked them!!! Also both was broken in half an out of the containers! They also had at least 3 people leave behind me with out picking up the food that they had placed an order for! I only wonder that if I had to wait to place my order is why could not the person have used something to write the order down and have the food available when I arrived at the window! But again they was not wanting to take my money's reason being I would have to pay at the first window! I had asked for a manager and or the names of the people working at that time I was...
Read moreI visited this particular location on Saturday for breakfast. I went inside to use the kiosks because the drive-thru line was extremely long and placed my order. As I am waiting, I am looking at the back where all of the employees are fixing the food, working the drive-through line, grabbing orders, etc... All you hear is yelling back and forth, it was as if I was watching a movie. Then the employee working the register at the front was extremely unprofessional as she spoke into the headset to let the customers know that breakfast was no longer served. This employee had the audacity to speak under her voice, AS IF we, the customers waiting for our orders could not hear her and say that the customer that she was speaking to had an ATTITUDE! Really!?!? Then to make matters worse, one of the workers comes from outside with a garbarge can and simply strolls it through the restaurant and through the area in the back where food is being prepared. Whoever owns this McDonalds should be more vested in their business, customers and the employees that he/she hires, but then, I'm sure they know what their rating is and they don't care because its all about the MONEY/PROFIT. This type of service and behavior explains the low rating of 3.2. I will never, ever come to this McDonald again because this is the 3rd time I have come here and my experience...
