Highland Gyros — Restaurant in North Township

I recommended them in the past based on their food. Typically, I have no issues, but recently June 2024, I had an experience that was not great and my sandwich needed to be replaced. I immediately contacted them, and they offered to replacement my next visit. I purchased a meal the only comment that I had was based on the situation w/ the sandwich, since I ordered a meal, why not replace the entire meal? I could not eat the 1st sandwich due to the issue so I was left w/fries & a drink. I went to get the replacement sandwich, and I had to purchase the fries that were extra crispy, and a drink (I ended up paying $4 sad when due to issue w/sandwich that day). Fantastic food, inexpensive and fast service! You know when you're driving and you smell something fried and grilled onions, and you're dying to know what it is? That's this place. The food is exactly what you're looking for, on time, every time. The jumbo polish with grilled onions is the same as the one you get at the baseball field, the onion rings are outstanding with the right seasonings in the batter that is light and not cakey, the charred grilled hamburgers are the ideal hamburger, oh and the gyros? Out of sight. Terrific flavor, the right portion and crisp'd up on the flat top before it's served with french fries. The Taziki sauce here is a joke. It taste like straight sour cream. Meat was cooked decent got plenty of onion and tomato. My pita bread was cooked. Great french fries with it. They charge $.59 extra for another Taziki. There’s not enough Taziki for one sandwich let alone two. if you want a GyroI would suggest going elsewhere I ordered a gyro dinner and they want more money for a drink.
