The food is always phenomenal but I was immediately turned off when I witnessed a woman go from the registers where I paid and go to the food prep station without even washing her hands & then answered the phone was on the register again with another gentleman and fixed her hat played with her apron and immediately go back to prepping orders without washing her hands or putting on a single pair of gloves! Then i witnessed as another woman walked in from outside put her open drink on a prep station and immediately start touching raw dough and prepping orders. Didnt wash her hands or put on gloves! Everyone there I witnessed didn't use gloves, or wash their hands and were touching several different things & cross contaminating foods! Nothing about this was slightly sanitary! Be very safe if u have food allergies and deciding to come here! It's so disgusting to not practice safe food prep! What's being practiced here isn't SERV-SAFE I'm sure! I was treated rudely by a staff member named Stacy, who demonstrated a complete lack of customer service skills. When I attempted to pay for my order with a $100 bill, I was abruptly informed that it could not be accepted. Nowhere in the store was there any signage indicating a policy against accepting bills over $20.
Stacy claimed the store only had $50 in cash on hand due to the bank being closed for three days, which, while unfortunate, is not the customer’s fault. As someone who works in customer service myself, I understand that unforeseen issues can arise, but it’s the responsibility of staff to handle them with professionalism and empathy. Instead, Stacy’s response was to tell me to leave the store — an unacceptable and disrespectful reaction.
