Tunic Coffee — Restaurant in Northampton

A great local coffeeshop with unique drinks and a fun theme.

We visited while in Northampton and stopped in for some drinks. All of the seats were taken but we grabbed hot chocolate, 2 chai lattes, and a cardamom-sage latte plus some foccacia, a scone, and hummingbird cake. Everything was delicious. My son is really into roleplaying and board games so we enjoyed perusing their games and books as well.

The place itself is really well lit with natural light and nicely decorated. The atmosphere was great.

I was super excited to see Tunic had opened, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is lovely, it's charming and well decorated. The staff is friendly. I got the passion fruit matcha fizz special, and it was great. I'm a big fan of matcha, and they hand whisked their matcha for the drink, which was great. Few places in the area do that, most just use matcha concentrate, and I think it speaks to Tunic's attention to detail and high quality product. Tunic is the ideal of what a cafe should be: trained staff, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious drinks. All the baristas are very friendly and good at what they do; you can tell they care about the quality of your drink. They have a mix of standard cafe drinks as well as seasonal drinks, and it’s the first place I’ve ever seen that offers hojicha tea! Whether you need to work on your laptop or catch up with a friend, there’s enough accommodating seating for you! And the board game nights are super fun. Tunic is the best...
