Wild Roots — Restaurant in Northampton

I really didn't want to leave this review but what I see as an ethical line was crossed. The deceptive, bait & switch pricing. They will upcharge you for any and all small requests. Coffee? Black prices only, up-charge for... 1/2 & 1/2 and a surprise bill at the counter, that's right. Burrito? Price display is $10 but it's actually $14 when they charge $4 for salsa and sour cream which are by all accounts, are part of what anyone considers a burrito. They're sandwiches? They'll advertise one and say it has Bacon. Then you find out there is a $4 upcharge for making which inflates the price by 35%. It's dsigned to wear you down so it's too annoying to change or go elsewhere. That is manipulation at it's finishet and I will not stand by it. I really hope mgmt sees this because I've heard THE SAME THING for two people unprompted by me. It's a real pronlem. Just say it's $14 if it's $14 its really not hard to understand why this is such a bad move. What are you? Dennys? McDonalds? I thought this was a local biz. The food is so fresh and delicious! The chef is creative and creates a beautiful presentation of the food.
