Cookie Plug — Restaurant in Northport

I certainly wouldn’t call myself a cookie aficionado, but I enjoy myself a good chocolate chip cookie. We wanted to try a new cookie place and this location popped up — save your money.

One might be able to get over the odd layout of being connected to a tropical smoothie Café, but having one employee running back between the two establishments seemed a little bit odd. But, again, totally willing to look past that for a delectable cookie.

Went in with the intention of purchasing three cookies, but they offer a special if you purchase for, which is what we did. All four cookies were different so we had the opportunity to sample four different types of cookies. All. Were. Terrible.

The chocolate chip cookie is sugar. All sugar. You taste the sugar crystals and see the sugar crystals as you eat it. It’s awful.

The oatmeal raisin cookie was tasteless. Couldn’t even be eaten.

The sugar cookie, once it was been into, disintegrated like a powder. A very odd experience.

And lastly, the Oreo cookie. Just don’t do it.

I’m not sure if this is an independent resale of Doughp cookies, because it said that on the box, but these cookies were not cheap, and they were not good.

Save yourself the time and go to the OG places.

I love supporting small business but as soon as I walked In the lady gave me attitude like this Is a black ran business which I try to support more but I don’t think they or she likes white people to much cause she was as nice as she could by to the black lady beside me and they told me they didn’t have something and the lady beside me asked for the same thing after I did and they gave It to her. Lol It’s Insane how people still act these days. The cookies are really good but they were sooooooo hard like rock hard. but the purple ones was super hard and had to throw them out. Cookies were amazing when they first opened now you can barely get any cookie at all! 3 times we went in there and they had no OG (chocolate chip) cookies at all. They have untrained employees that don’t even know the cookie menu they never know about any promotions when we clearly show them the emails that come from Cookie Plug. Today they called their manager and they had no clue about the promotion and claimed they weren’t participating in it. This was our favorite cookie place but with the lack of product and untrained staff we will look elsewhere! If we are spending $25-$45 everytime we go to get cookies they could atleast have the cookies we want in stock, most of the time they have a menu with over half of the cookie flavors crossed out....
