Initial order was for chicken strips with fries, flamethrower burger meal with no tomato and a sweet tea no ice, a 2 for $5 of pretzels and a plain cheeseburger, and two regular cheese curds. The woman taking the order did not repeat or confirm items, and was kind of rude talking over me while I was trying to order (ie asking the drink while Im trying to say the drink). The young man at the window was very nice and pleasant. We were asked to pull around where we waited about 5 minutes before going inside to check the status. We received the chicken strips with fries, three cheese burgers (non plain) and the flamethrower burger still had tomato on it. We were missing the fries for the burger meal, the pretzels, and clearly were rung up for cheese burgers instead of cheese curds. We went in to ask for the missing items and try to get the order corrected. The same young man was helpful, apologetic, and nice. He went to get his manager who would not step around, she threw the pretzels up saying she got them, so she obviously knew she was missing them. I tried to say we were missing the cheese curds and were rung up for burgers instead and she, instead of walking up and talking like a normal, professional person, stood at her station and yelled we didn't get charged for cheese curds. I tried repeating I understand we weren't charged, we didn't order these burgers and I would like to get it corrected. She continued to stand there and yell that we ordered cheese burgers not cheese curds. Not correct, but ok. Still missing the fries and I ordered cheese curds. Got rung up for another order of fries (still never got the first one I paid for) and an order of cheese curds. Eventually received two cheese curds and begrudgingly the fries, but overall an awful experience. I wouldn't have been annoyed if the manager wasn't so unprofessional, combative, and disrespectful on what was her mistake any way. I didn't even complain about the fact that my tea was old and had ice, i didnt get a straw or napkins, or the fact that the two burgers WE DID order were made incorrectly. Now out money for food I'm not going to eat because it was made incorrectly. 0/10, would...
Read moreI have attempted to go here 3 times in the past couple weeks because Iâve been craving a blizzard. Each of the three times, the door had a sign indicating that the lobby was open, but each of the three times, the lobby was locked. The first time I waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes. When I finally got to the speaker, I was told they were out of ice cream. How does Dairy Queen run out of ice cream? I was very frustrated because I had to wait so long only to be told that they didnât have what I came for. I left without ordering anything. The second time, there was a long line of cars in the drive thru and no cars were moving (except for the cars that gave up and left). I waited for about 10-15 minutes and finally somebody walked up to the window of my car and told me that they were closed! This was at approximately 8:40pm and both the sign on the door and the website says they close at 10pm. Lights were on in the buildingâŚlights on in the drive thruâŚemployees walking around insideâŚand a drive thru full of cars. But they were âclosedâ over an hour early. The third time I went, the lobby was still locked so I went to the drive thru. I waited and waited but nobody said anything. Eventually they shut off the drive thru menu and drive thru lights while I was sitting right there and still nobody said anything. I drove around to the window and there were employees inside and they looked at me but ignored me and never opened the window or said anything to me. Again, this was over an hour before they actually close. I guess they just decide in the moment if they want to take your order or not. The way they didnât even acknowledge me even when they look right at me after Iâve been waiting is just so rude and disrespectful. So in summary, three recent visits, much time wasted, zero dollars spent, zero...
Read moreI love Dairy Queen but I hate going to this local restaurant. Very common for doors to be locked in middle of the day for no reason. Very common for the ice cream machines to be "down for cleaning" especially near closing time. My main reason for this review is after a visit last night when my family of 4 ordered blizzards for each of us. It took nearly 30 minutes to get through the drive through with only 3 cars in front of me. When I finally get to the window to pay they tell me they didn't have my order, they thought I drove away. There is a hillside and a curb there with no way to get out of line. Anyways I had to give her my order again and then it took even longer to get 4 small blizzards. When we finally got them the cups were only half full of ice cream. I sat there until she came back and then she asked what's wrong with my order and I told her I paid for small blizzards, not half cups of blizzards. She looked at me appalled and replied their manager told them to fill them like that. I told them to either fill it to the top of the cup or give me my money back. She took them back and only added ice cream to the top. This restaurant gives Dairy Queen a bad name. I would like to say this is a one time occurrence, but every time we go there is something negative that happens or bad attitudes displayed by the workers. Again, I love Dairy Queen and I wish this store would step up their customer service on so many...
