Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Northport

Chick-fil-A is known for consistent quality, and the new Northport location is no exception when it comes to fresh, hot food and gracious service. Every order I’ve placed has been spot-on—crispy chicken, hot waffle fries, and perfectly prepared breakfast items like chicken biscuits and hash browns. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and never misses a “my pleasure.”

That said, the speed of service has felt a little off during my recent visits. The drive-thru lines can get long (as expected), but even once you’re in line or at the window, the rhythm sometimes feels clunky. It’s not chaotic—just slower than what I’ve come to expect from other Chick-fil-A locations. This might be due to it being a newer store still finding its groove, and I want to give grace for that.

What stands out is the team’s attitude. Even when it’s busy or a bit delayed, they don’t rush interactions or skip on courtesy. That professionalism matters and makes the wait a little more tolerable. I can see this store improving with time and training—and I’ll definitely keep returning, especially since the food quality hasn’t missed a beat.

Haven't posted a CFA sandwich review to go with my Popeye's and Jack's regiews so here we go.

Regular sandwich: Nice and crispy, a bit smooshed, seasoned well, not too much breading. Bun isn't amazing but nice and buttery. Filet was pretty big. (Overall score reflects the average of the other scores plus/minus other factors)

Taste: 8 Texture: 8 Presentation: 6 Value: 8 Overall: 8

Spicy sandwich: (I was hungry so I got both don't judge me) Very crispy, very big fillet, not smooshed, seasoned perfectly. Ditto on bun. This was everything I want from a spicy CFA-style sandwich.

Taste: 9 Texture: 8 Presentation: 7 Value: 8 Overall: 9

I rarely have any complaints with a Chick-fil-A sandwiches, and today's were as good as ever. Any time I'm slightly disappointed in one of their sandwiches I don't mind because I know the last one I had was great and the next one will be, too. Bonus points: while writing this review (at dinner time in a very under-staffed CFA) an employee came to take my tray and trash for me and stopped to ask how my day has been. Popeye's would've held me up with a blackjack and asked why I was still in their store cuz they've only got 2 hours before closing time.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this particular Chick-Fil-A. Their food is absolutely great, but it's the service here that will keep you coming back. I have two kids (a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old) and the fact that they'll bring the food to your table is so helpful when we're trying to wrangle kids.

Also, my youngest has some pretty severe allergies, and this location is absolutely attentive to those needs. They'll add a red flag to the menu item and completely clean off the grill before making grilled nuggets for my youngest. (In fact, this is one of very few outside eating places where my daughter can eat safely.)

The staff really is ready to serve your needs to make sure you have a good experience. On top of that, this location regularly has community-wide fundraising events and activities for kids as well. So, to sum up. They have really great food. They have really great staff. (I mean it. Other restaurants should be calling them and asking how they handle their hiring and training practices.)
