Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Northport

My family and I come here a lot and I’m not sure what happened today but service was subpar. The young man scooping ice cream moved at a snails’ pace. By the time he was finished with the first set of toppings the ice cream was visibly melting. I was told we couldn’t take the completed cups, which they have always just given us when they’re done, before payment. When he was on mine, the final cup, my pregnant wife insisted we weren’t running away anywhere and asked if we could give the melting ice cream to our two children.

The best part is yet to come. I always present my military ID for my earned discount and it couldn’t be figured out. I finally said it’s not a big deal, my ice cream is melting, and she insisted on figuring it out so she made a call. After all of that and a $30 order I was discount $1 whole dollar.

Customer service was awful. One person making your order, while the other workers sit there and watch. The difference between this place and coldstone is that the stone is actually cold at coldstone.
