Connor's Family Dining — Restaurant in Northville Charter Township

The food was good and the service was good as well. However, the floors were incredibly filthy. They had a full staff on Sunday, August 28th. We arrived at 11am and we were a party of 4 adults. There were a party of 2 ahead of us waiting to be seated as well. The party of 2 got tired of waiting and asked to be seated at the bar to which they replied, "that's for party of 1." My party of 4 were curious WHY they made us wait when there was a table available to seat 6. Instead, they made us stand and continue to wait until a table for 4 was emptied. Com'on Connor's.....make smart choices. Because you made all of us to stand and wait against a wall....people walked in, saw the line....and left. You lost customers. Do you seriously think this was the best outcome for Connor's???? And by the way.....while we were leaving....they sat a party of 4 right were MY party of 4 asked to...

We have been going here for years, but this place is sinking fast. Walk in the door for our carry out and the waitress and cook are in the middle of a verbal conflict about whether our order is ready, or not. These (2) were battling with each other right out in the open for all to see and hear, and it was uncomfortable for us to witness as customers and downright nasty, especially on the part of the cook on the kitchen side of the battlefield.. No wonder our order was messed up and missing items we paid for when all this staff is focused on is an in- house political war. I believe this confrontational atmosphere is embedded into the culture here and advise those looking to have an enjoyable and relaxing meal to go elsewhere. Waitresses never greet you right away. 5 minutes later they come to the table to ask what to drink. Then they forget your drinks and you wait another 5 minutes. After ordering they never check back with us. Have to ask other waitresses to get our waitress. Ordered fish and chips and the waitress tells me no chips come with the fish. Waitresses are always standing around talking never checking on their customers. After when you go to pay at the register, you stand there for another five minutes the waitresses all look at you and turn their back and go do other things. These Waitresses need a good talking to.
