Sheehan's On the Green — Restaurant in Northville Charter Township

When you have been going to a place for over 20 years you have a certain level of what you know and are familiar with- have enjoyed… we understand that things change and especially in the pandemic a lot of things changed.

This was our first return since the beginning of the pandemic. We couldn’t have been more disappointed in the service- The waitress came up and didn’t even say hello but said do you want food? Yes we definitely want food and we proceeded to give her our order - she didn’t write it down so I thought OK she must have a really good memory- NOT-

we ordered a cheeseburger w/ cheddar cheese ( but they don’t have cheddar- use to) she didn’t inform my husband of that when he stated his order - She instead put the order in with Swiss cheese. My husband can’t stand Swiss cheese on his burger- I ordered a bacon cheeseburger but only received the cheeseburger- We ordered curly fries, instead got a small order of of fries w/cheeseburger- 5 minutes into eating our burgers, we received a small clump of curly fries-

On a good note, I'll say that I think that this place is a really cozy bar. I live within walking distance and would be here all the time, along with many of my friends, except for some things that are really sub-par. The food here is nothing that Food and Wine magazine will be doing an article on anytime soon and Guy Fieri will never visit, but it's a bar and serves bar food. The drink prices are way too high; I don't know what the owner is thinking with prices like these.

But my main gripe is with the people working here. Rude, don't seem to give a crap about their jobs, and overall, very off-putting. There are times I've felt like I've been in a biker bar with the way some of the waitresses and bartenders have acted and talked; not like I'm at an Irish pub in Plymouth.

I've spoken with numerous people and we've all agreed that if Sheehan's were to lower their drink prices and then hire some friendly, pretty young girls to work here, they'd probably double or triple...

It’s actually quite tragic what happened to this establishment. It was once one of the most charming places that one could go to catch a bite to eat at. I’ve been a regular customer for many years. However, within the last month or two the customer service has been the worst I’ve ever experienced. To begin, the waitress started mocking me to her colleagues, noticeable to both me and my girlfriend. The service just to worse from there. This most recent, and last, visit was on a Saturday night where there was only a few people in the place. Unfortunately, this type of service will continue to scare loyal customers away like me, and will mean grave consequences to this once...
