My wife's and my experience was okay. Enjoyed the ice-cream. However I purchased some donuts and asked if the leftovers go on sale half-priced when they got older or before closing. Similar to what Wesco, Meijer and Wal-mart do at the end of the day. I was promptly told, "No, they are thrown away". I was floored! I asked why not donate them to the homeless shelters and the girl told me they only donate bread items. What a waste I was thinking seeing as there were at least a few hundred muffins, pastries, donuts and donut holes left in the case. Wondering if some of them go home to the staff's families. Not sure I'll be patronizing this...
Read moreI went to Cold Stone in September 2017. I was very disappointed with my experience. The Cold Stone area (separate from Tim Horton) was dirty with boxes, containers, spilled ice cream, and toppings. The area simply looked like it hadn't been used in a while. The employees seemed to have an attitude when we wanted to taste some of the ice cream flavors.The staff also did not know how to input a gift card in the register so we waited for over 20 minutes (the store was nearly empty). I emailed the owner of the store and shared my experience (as stated on the door of the store) and never got a response....
Read moreWe came at 5:30 to get some ice cream. When we walked in, we instantly felt unwelcomed due to the attitude of Kayleigh (or Kylie?). Before we even got to the counter she asked what we wanted. We said we wanted ice cream and she rolled her eyes and impatiently waited for us to order.
The staff was cleaning and closing up shop 1.5 hours ahead of time which made us feel rushed. I did notice a 'training' sticker on the girl's hat, but it wasn't even that, it was the constant and instant attitude we got from her.
Gonna stick to Culver's because at least they're kind and appreciate their customer's...
