Pal's Sudden Service — Restaurant in Norton

All the pales I went to outside of kingsport an the one near 81 on fort Henry Dr. Below 4.0, Lyn garden x lent center street pales same great food . But the pales in VA , Johnson city Tn slacking. ;( I grew up on that food teas are so small now why can't u get 1 refill any more? That is one of the thing that made your alls restaurant. Need more places where your can sit more to eat the food. Have more business. If it was just a few seat outside instead parking thing to eat before it cold or drive all the home . Then every thing wet, running threw paper fries no good . Season salt all of them out of city limits kingsport. They use very little Norton I don't think they use any of that kind of salt I ate there 2 days ago. Norton Va fries I had very little to nun and I did adk for no salt. I really liked it. We don't have these in Ohio and I wanted to try a more regional food but it was about 10:00 at night.

I asked the girl at the window what she suggested and she it was very nice and polite. I got the single burger with cheese, lettuce, onion, mayo and no tomato, along with their fries and a 'peachie' sweet tea.

All of the employees looked efficient and polite to each other and it looked clean from what I could see.

The food itself was actually really good. The burger had a light but sweet taste (some seasoning in it). It wasn't as heavy as a normal fast food Burger felt. The fries were actually the best part. They have a seasoning on them that tastes kind of a mix of salt, paprika and onion powder (maybe with garlic or MSG too). The Peach tea was 'worst' of the three items. It was very artificial Peach tasting, but better than some I've had.

But overall it was a good meal for less than $8.

UPDATE: .....oi, what happened?! Went to Pal's for supper and I'm at a loss. The food was terrible!! The fries were limp and luke warm at best, I got a pal's junior burger and it was just awful. This is not like Pal's the Quality is terrible. This was at 6pm, so yes as per usual the line to get food was a little waiting but for having 8 people that I could see from the window and there all talking amongst themselves and only seeing 1 person bagging food and "working" .... this pal's needs a little quality control and teamwork training.

Please, please work out the kinks.... I REALLY don't want to have to go to sonic for my burger and fries.
