I will truly have to say the service of the person I ordered from, which was an older man with glasses was terrible. My friend has been here many times so I was excited to try their breakfast. I asked for a Vanilla Latte and received a lecture on ordering coffee the wrong way. He then told me the flavored coffees were not healthy, and cancerous and that I can die from them. Imagine the look on my face ordering a coffee and receiving all of that as I am looking at the syrups and flavors on the menu. A little hypocritical to sell the exact items that will kill me. So I got a free scolding, and then he made a vanilla latte. I was uneasy and did not want to really order food after that. But, if I couldn’t order coffee right, I know I’ll be fine with food. I then tried to order toast, where he then said they do not sell toast. Once again, mind you there is avocado toast on the menu, but he said he would not sell me just plain toast but they do have avocado toast. I ordered a croissant instead because I truly just wanted a plain item. My friend ordered a meal, so we waited in the cafe for her food. As we waited, the person next to me was served toast. I mean shocked that the very thing I could not get was served to another customer. I was truly dissatisfied with the service, especially as someone who traveling from out of town. Even with my frustration I can still give credit to a great croissant, it was buttery and well made. I hope I can chalk up his service to a bad day, but it was truly a condescending coffee experience. I hope that you get anyone else to take your...

I used to love Cafe Dolce and I've referred them often. My recent experience was extremely unpleasant however . I was there 23 minutes before closing and asked the girl if it was okay to sit down and eat. She said okay and took an order for cappuccino and crepes.

There was no one else in the cafe at the time. I sat down to a lovely cappuccino on a very rainy day and waited for some crepes. I finished my cappuccino and went to the ladies room. I returned to a takeout container with two very anemic looking crepes

I asked the guy behind the counter as I understood to be eating in .(the food looked very anemic, cold and tasteless but I said nothing..clearly they wanted to leave) He was extremely rude and belligerent

I ve met the owner several times before and I know they all work very hard But this tall slender person who seems to be the manager was extremely rude

There were two other people having coffee by then One of which was a young lady that had had dialogue with him and seemed to be waiting for him. Clearly he had other business to attend to

I was so disgusted with his rudeness I returned the anemic looking crepes untouched and walked out the door.

There is enough going on in this world without being insulted when going into establishment .We are all feeling the stress

I've seen this guy be wired and rude before in there ALL they had to say was they weren't taking any orders for food when I walked in.I would then have enjoyed a lovely cappuccino in the rain and...

I would definitely go somewhere else. I was a bit disappointed when I ate the almond croissant. It tasted a bit off. I'm not exactly sure what it could be, but it threw me off. I did have an ice coffee, which was decent. The chorizo panini was OK, it wasn't so good but it wasn't so bad either. Why did I give it a 1 star? It was the service here. I had to ask them to put sugar on my coffe otherwise they would not put any sugar on your drink. They don't bother offering you any sugar or liquid syrups that they have. I asked for a Peach and Passion fruit lemonade, and both were so bitter, with no sugar or flavor at all. I wasn't sure why I would ask for sugar on the lemonade when there should be sugar on it. I would avoid these at all costs. I also didn't like that in between the staff they would talk so loudly, by that I mean while they were talking to each other I could hear them both say "it 2:45pm, what should I do before we close?!" I'm not sure if they did that because there was a group of older ladies talking to each other or because I was still eating my food calmly. It was a bit uncomfortable when someone was eating or having a conversation. You could hear the staff trying to let everyone know that they closed at 3 pm. I would have just gone straight to the customer to let them know they are about to close, if we need anything to go, or simply offer something. I don't know. Maybe I am asking for too much, or just me remembering my time when I was a server, I never...

Everything here is made with care. The espresso drinks are powerful; the pastries are excellent and varied; the entrees are delicious. The quality is consistent. Take a minute to look through the menu and the two pastry cases, as the selections change frequently, and ask what soups they have that day. The communal table in the center and the high-top ledge at the window mean that there is almost always somewhere to sit, no matter how popular the café is that day or how quickly the small tables fill up. Most of all, I appreciate the calm atmosphere of this family business. The staff are kind to everyone, including each other. They bring your order to your seat (which prevents me from spilling coffee on myself, a great bonus). It is a nice place to share breakfast/lunch with a friend, or to get some work done with a warm beverage close at hand. I also buy espresso beans there: they will grind the whole beans if you ask.

The cafe is actually pretty big inside and they had a good assortment of cookies, cakes, and pastries As usual we ordered a small black coffee for the husband and a medium iced latte for me. Along with that we ordered a chocolate chip cookie and crescent The crescent was delicious, it was the first time I’ve ever had one. It was a thin bread like crust filled with a cinnamon streusel and was delicious. The latte at first I though to myself great they just gave me a big glass of milk but it was also really good and the espresso was made correctly. The husband said the coffee was very good so that was a plus. The final cost was $11+ for a small coffee, medium latte, crescent, and chocolate chip cookie.
