Was a long time customer until today. Looks like it’s under new management. None of the familiar faces around. Took 15 minutes to get coffee and chocolate milk when we placed our drinks and order all at the same time. Coffee came first after 10 minutes of our order then waited another 10 minutes for chocolate milk. We ordered a simple tuna sandwich on white toast and a grilled cheese. We never had an issue with our orders before. A couple came in 15 minutes after us and they got served their hot meals while we were still waiting over 1/2 hour for our tuna sandwich and simple grilled cheese. Waitresses were too busy behind the counter on their iphones swiping up and down and not attentive to their customers. Let me add that there was a maximum of 10 customers at the restaurant. We kept eyeing the waitresses behind the counter thinking they would catch on to why we haven’t been served but they were too busy on their phones. Once she served the couple who had arrived 15 minutes after us and then proceeded to go to the booth next to ours to ask if they needed it anything without acknowledging that we’ve been waiting for our order for over 1/2 hour later I asked her how much longer for our sandwiches, and she shrugged her shoulders and said She doesn’t know what’s taking them so long. I got up with the elder lady I care for and went to the counter and told them cancel my order and I’ll pay for the coffee and chocolate milk. They had the nerves to ask me after over 45 minutes if we’d like to take our order home. I said NO. Paid over $6 for the drinks and left. You’d think they would have at least gave us the coffee and chocolate milk on the house for their lack of customer service. Diamond Deli, you’ve lost two very long time customers. I bet there’s plenty...
Read moreWell, before I go into detail about my own personal experience, I would like to credit them with a great website and menu. Unfortunately the food was terrible:( Tonight was our first time ordering here. It took over an hour to get here. We are literally off Main st... So as you can imagine we were starving... daydreaming as our mouths watered about the food we were about to feast on...Friday night... long week from work....so this was supposed to be my highlight...Upon grabbing the bag from the delivery guy the bag and the pizza it was luke warm as was the eggplant parm...and my fries...but I mean who doesn't like soggy mushy fries right? I guess I didn't mind that but taking a bite from my tuna wrap. One word it smelled as bad as it tasted. But I paid for it so I had to get thru at least half of a half. By the time I made it thru half of a half my gag reflux said I had enough. I couldn't even give it to the dog. My boyfriend who is an eggplant parm comnoisseur..literally orders eggplant everywhere couldn't even finish his either. No sauce accompanied with a horrible taste. The pizza I guess was okay...I mean super large pepperoni but hey it's pepperoni right. That was for my kids, at least they were happy...so I guess given the other reviews on this site there might be hope that other items are good. Maybe burgers or easier sandwiches and paninis...but don't go venturing with other items and especially the overly creamy fishy tuna...my stomach is still turning. Worst 40 bucks spent on Food. For the tuna wrap, eggplant grinder and pepperoni pizza. Also..we gave the guy a decent tip. I'm sorry Diamond deli...but...

The pizza I got today just looks like a plain pizza - a disappointing change - possibly due to the change in management that happened this year. Either way - fine for a plain pizza but not fine for a brick oven pizza place where there is supposed to be a difference between “plain” and “Margherita” in terms of ingredients and quality.
Good pizza - tried a regular pie with sausage, pepperoni, onion and basil - 👨🍳💋👌 Brick oven style although the crust is a bit different and they use cornmeal, which isn’t my preference but overall the ingredients and portions were very good. Loved the bubbles in the crust. If they had a crust like you’d find on a Naples-style pie, I don’t know if I could trust myself to not eat there every couple of days. If you haven’t tried their pie, go for it.
Just an update to say I tried their garlic knot crust on a large pizza and I have to say i wouldn’t recommend it. You’re paying an extra $5 for the garlic knots and it’s taking up a lot of space where toppings and cheese would usually go. So you end up with a small pizza and a lot of crust and knots. 3rd photo. I would’ve preferred that they did something instead of just placing knots on it - like sprinkling the garlic knot recipe on an enlarged pizza crust border.
Nice outdoor seating options, friendly service staff, and easy-going / low-key interior.
