Previous reviewer must have been having a bad day. We’re big lobster roll fans and have been there many times, and again last night. Hands down the best lobster roll on the South Shore- or really anywhere. Their small roll at currently less than $20 and served on a toasted hotdog bun is what most people think of as a lobster roll. The large roll at just over $30 comes on a toasted brioche roll and is hugely stuffed with meat. My wife generally eats only half. Not so with me- I just can’t stop eating it. The lobster, with a large amount of tail meat, is so fresh, so tender, and so flavorful with just the right touch of mayonnaise and nothing else to spoil it. You can also order with warmed butter instead of mayo. I taste no lemon added, just a wedge on the side. A generous portion of their home-made sidewinder fries are included- and truly all fries should be like these. I recommend adding a $2 container of the Lobster Express coleslaw- excellent and enough of two. Always worth the 20 min drive for us...

It is very hard for me to say anything bad about lobster because it’s my favorite food. I got three naked lobster rolls today and they were absolutely disgusting. First of all, all the lobster rolls were soaked in butter so much so that the roll was so soggy. All of the lobster meat was mainly tails and nothing was cut up so it was impossible to eat. I will not be going here again and recommend you get your lobster...
