Drip tastes like Folgers and the espresso drinks are a joke.
Edit for the owners reply.
"Starbucks, Mary Lou & Dunkin have the same vendor for coffee and espresso maybe you want to try the dark roast" Yeah... These are the worst coffee makers. It's exactly why I have a low review. I walked past several places that are faster and more convenient with the same bad coffee why would I ever come here. Maybe find a local roaster with fresher less burned coffee. I certainly drank a dark roast I didn't notice any roast options, but the default is way darker than my preference. That would be okay if it was half decent but it tastes like the same burned bottom barrel coffee the massive national chains that prioritize profit over any kind of decent coffee. As you admit to for some reason (tell me you know nothing about coffee without telling me).
"But please come to us at main desk instead of just leaving a review which is false!!"
Main desk? Maybe you're a bit out of touch. Food service is a competitive industry you'll need to handle some criticism.
This is an opinionated review and is 100% honest and completely true. I might be a bit of a coffee snob but I had some hopes this place has decent coffee since it's the only place downtown. No I'm not going to come inside and teach you about coffee its not my job. I dumped your coffee on the ground and I'll never come back. I'm not going to tell the barista how to correctly make a cappuccino. Here's a hint: The small is too big to be a cappuccino. If you Google an espresso drink guide you'll find plenty of helpful ratios on what every espresso drink is. My favorite is a cortado but I went with a cappuccino because it should have been the smallest amount of milk on the menu and I got a 16 oz cup of milk! It's so wrong, it should have the same amount of milk as coffee and foam on top. The drink also burned my mouth and couldnt be held without a sleeve which means the milk was steamed too much and is overcooked. You probably just drown the coffee out with milk since you know it's the worst you can buy.
Maybe one star is harsh but since you replied so carelessly revealing how little you know about coffee and in a completely rude and disrespectful manner you definitely...

It feels like a lovely community hangout location.
I went earlier this morning, and there was a massive dog, unleashed, pacing out front.
I waited for his owner to come and take him away, but no one came.
I called the cafe, and the woman I spoke with was kind and understanding, and I asked if she could request the dogs owner to come out and leash him, and then I would come and order.
I saw her leave the cafe with the man, and the man seemed to be arguing with her.
He waited out front with his dog for maybe 5 min, the two of them pacing back and forth, dog still unleashed, before he made the dog sit again (still, no leash) and went back inside (entitled jerk. Who leaves a dog unleashed in public places, let alone outside a business, let alone a German Shepherd! The dog looked like a police dog).
I finally called the police, since the man clearly wasn’t listening to common decency or the cafe’s requests, and the police came to make him leash his dog. I had to leave without food or drink, because I was late for work.
Thankfully I had time to stop back later on my lunch break, and there was no dog.
I have been attacked before (still dealing with hip and knee injuries from that attack), and it is completely unacceptable for any of me to bring any dog in public without a leash, let alone a huge dog like that.
BUT I’m very grateful for the staff willing to address the issue immediately. The server was bold, decisive, and undeterred but the man’s arguing.
This customer should be not permitted to come if he does this again. It’s not safe. It’s rude. And if a cafe were to permit this, it would lose business.
Thank you for addressing...
Read moreVery welcoming true coffeehouse vibe. Feels if you desired staying all day would be chill. Coffee is exceptional. Various brews of the day (brews not flavored coffees; although flavoring is available if necessary). The place is homey & yet you can have a 1:1 without feeling on blast for all. The food to me has a tiny edge of hipster factor beyond the extravagant pastry. The breakfast sandwiches a cheese slightly adding a little flavor. Same with respect to the sandwiches - between various condiments, cheeses, bread selections, and guessing quality of ingredients overall, a turkey & cheese wrap is elevated & honestly delicious. I’ve been stopping in this almost hidden gem for over 10 years often spur of the moment if traveling thru Norwood Center. If not breakfast or lunch an in-between coffee & snack. Coffee beans also available if you brew at home. Always a nice experience. And, the coffee is the real stuff. Not a Keep going or “brewed” in flavor. Always seems to be a light/mild option along with more bold &...
