Reservoir Coffee — Restaurant in Norwood

😀Good personal relations make for good coffee ☕. I am a customer from out of state(Colorado ) have gone there several times for morning coffee and Bible studies. 📖 No one was in the store except for me and cashier. While we were examining the scripture a lady walked in and asked what we were doing I said reading about the spirit and while I continued a customer walked in. We stopped then the lady said she's the owner,💵 and asked me not to distract the cashier while they're working. I politely stated I respect customers and there was no one in here and we were reading the Bible. The cashier had no idea this was happening . The owner said "you might think that I'm your enemy 👿and I can see where this is going I do not want you reading the Bible in here at the counter,". I replied,"you really didn't say that did you"? She then said "you have 5 minutes". I found it to be very disrespectful, and not to mention (illegal 🧑‍⚖️ religious discrimination)and freedom of speech in a business🤬. I have a Street ministry and I am 62 years old. I can overlook this but there are those who would be able to take it further and cause them a lot of legal hardship🤨. There are many ,more,, serious events happening in this world🌎 than to have someone harass you in a coffee shop talking about the Bible during Christmas season🤔. By the way, I'm not sure if the owner knew the cashier was willingly conversing with me while sitting. From the sounds of it maybe they're afraid of losing their job. I am praying...

On my way to work driving through Norwood and while I was going to get my coffee elsewhere I decided to support small business. Simple google search led me here and OMG I’m SO glad it did. First and foremost the main entrance for Reservoir Coffee is in the back of Mercantile. But you can enter front or back. I tried The Piedmont which is white mocha and pistachio. First sip gave me that WOW factor and each sip after that was mmm mmm. I also had a cinnamon toast muffin by Sassy Bakery and it was very flavorful. The place is beautifully decorated. Overall you will not be disappointed!!

Update: went to Starbucks ordered same thing and it wasn’t as good at this place. Way better...

10 stars for sure! So happy to have discovered this gem of a coffee shop. I am on the road a lot for my job and try to frequent local businesses as much as possible. So glad that I took an extra minute to pop in Reservoir coffee today! The barista, Liz, could not have been more friendly and was helpful in explaining the menus to me! The building itself is unexpectedly beautiful on the inside. Have tried many a small-business coffee and this is definitely right on the top of the list. I had a specialty coffee from the holiday/seasonal menu and indulged in a most delicious cream cheese danish, flaky and sweet! Will most definitely stop in again next time I am in...
