I asked to have a sandwich with grilled cheese, pickles, onions, avocado, tomato, lettuce, mustard and mayonnaise. While very pleasant, the staff informed me that they could do mustard or mayonaise, but not both. They had both, she said, but the only way I could have both on my sandwich was to have the mustard in a cup on the side. This lead to the bizzare experience of having to open the sandwich up after it arrived and smear mustard into it because none of the chefs could manage this feat of engineering!

Then there were no pickles available, I was told. Finally, the sandwich with one coke to go, cost $27. - making it the most expensive sandwich I've ever had, with no side of fries or anything - just a sandwich on the smaller side. Wasted a meal here. Road tripping down coast excited to eat farm to table food from the region. Pulled off 101 highway here hungry and excited. Ordered a veganized version of their green goddess sandwich = no cheese or sauce and though I asked nicely the girl couldn't/wouldn't swap for avocado or hummus without extra charges. Was hoping this was more of a personalized restaurant in this historic town but they operated like a corporation: cannot swap and no dogs on their outdoor patio even though there's a back entrance. Sandwich was bread, unseasoned tofu , cucumber slices, sprouts. Unseasoned?! I took it to go and doctored it up with some delicious sauce I had in my cooler.
