7/13/24 Update: What can I say! Beef Stroganoff, Short Rib Ragu, Barbacoa Quesadilla, Carrot Cake, Peanut Butter Cocoa Cookie, and Lemon Cookie. As usual, Ardiana's does not disappoint. I've really missed this place. Family issues kept me away, but ummmm, everything is still freshly cooked from scratch. I love this place! God continue to bless you my sister! A truly gifted woman. Don't miss out, you will not be sorry.
Sometime in March 2024:( Baaaby, let me tell you!!! When I say this hidden gem is FIRE, you can take that to the bank! I am what you call a supremely, finicky, particular way, type of woman, but this restaurant...OMG! It's so good that I almost want to keep it a secret, so they'll always have what I want, but that would truly be an injustice to them. I ordered the beef stroganoff, with bread, the beef quesadilla with red onion, plus a chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter-chocolate chip cookie. I WAS FLOORED! 😲 NOT ONLY ARE THE PORTION SIZES AMAZING, BUT THE TASTE OF EV-ER-RY-THING, WAS THE BOMB! My friend and I ate like we hit the food lottery! The beef stroganoff was melt in your mouth delicious. It literally felt like each bite was made with more love than the previous bite! The quesadilla was spot on! Whatever they put in that sauce...🤯! I would have bet money that an Italian, Black, and Latina grandma was in that kitchen cooking because everything was homemade! No boxed, thawed, and microwaving going on here, and it is clearly evident! I will never buy dinner or lunch from anywhere else! I will drive from Westland to Novi at least twice a week and pick up dinner for me and my family. This place felt like it was frozen in time. A time when people were very friendly and very caring when you came to eat, and actually cooked with love and tremendous skill! I'm 52, (looking 32) and have not tasted anything this good since I was a kid, in the deep country part of Georgia. When grandma got up at the crack of dawn to make a huge spread for breakfast, then cleaned up and started preparing for lunch, after lunch, cleanup, they did it all again for dinner! It was the best of the best, and so is Ardiana's. Oh, I forgot to tell y'all about the cookies! 🤗 Mmm, mmm, mmm! Each bite got better and better. It was like tasting the very depth of every tasty layer to those cookies. Even the bread was amazing! If you think I'm fibbing or exaggerating, prove me wrong! Go try that beef stroganoff or anything that tickles your fancy. You will not be disappointed! I'm going back tomorrow! Ardiana's going to see this brown face...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped by for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant wasn’t very busy, with only a few tables occupied. The first thing that caught my eye was the seating arrangement. The center of the room had folding chairs—the type you might use for a card table, with no cushions—paired with tables. These weren’t the most comfortable, being just metal chairs. However, the tables along the outer walls had proper wooden chairs, which were much better. Our server quickly informed us that they were in the middle of remodeling, so we were willing to overlook some of these issues with the ambiance.
We started with the lemon rice soup, and this was a great start to the meal. The soup was tangy with a strong lemon flavor, which we both enjoyed. It gave us high hopes for the rest of the dining experience.
For dinner, I initially ordered the Beef Stroganoff, while my wife opted for the Chicken Lemonato. However, after a short time, the server came back to let me know they were out of the Stroganoff. I decided to order the Chicken Lemonato as well but asked for pasta instead of rice, which they happily accommodated without any issues.
After a wait of around 10 minutes, our meals arrived. My wife’s Chicken Lemonato, served with rice, had an extremely heavy sauce. While the lemon flavor was strong and the sauce thick, it was also quite salty. The chicken on both of our plates was dry, relying heavily on the sauce for moisture, but the sauce itself was too overpowering. My dish, served with pasta, fared a bit better for me since I prefer pasta to rice, but the strong lemon flavor was still overwhelming.
Overall, while the lemon rice soup was the highlight of the meal, the main courses left much to be desired. The overpowering lemon flavor, dry chicken, and mismatched value for the price make it unlikely that we...
Read moreWe were in the area for an early cheer competition and found Ardiana’s searching on Google. Decided to give it a try based on the menu and many positive reviews. I all ready read in reviews about the construction going on outside, so we were not surprised to see that there was work being done there. We still saw the name painted above well enough. I ordered the Los Altos Benedict with barbacoa meat. It was very tasty, the Hollandaise sauce has a spicy kick (cayenne?), the barbacoa was perfect and the homemade English muffin was fresh and delicious. The organic dressed greens were very fresh and light. My fiancé got the Chorizo Omelet. He thought it was fantastic. The menu says the omelettes come with potatoes and so we were expecting the potatoes. The chorizo omelette is not supposed to come with the potatoes but the waitress forgot to tell us it’s a misprint. The manager, Marissa, remedied the situation and sent the potatoes and apologized. The potatoes are AMAZING!!! Such good flavoring. We got an order of the Apricot Goat Cheese Crêpes to share for dessert. Wow! Perfection!!! Not overly sweet, the crêpe was so tender and buttery, the homemade berry sauce on top was the stuff that makes one want to lick the plate clean. I used my finger. ;) Marissa (who also happens to be the owners’ daughter) couldn’t have been more sweet, friendly, and accommodating. We will definitely return to sample more of this wonderful menu next time we...
