Dear Taco Bell, My extraordinary family and I were famished after church today because we prayed so hard. Jesus had us all weak in the knees! I really wanted to see if I could get a macaroni and sausage bowl but in the shape of a little carrot (I learnt that burrito means "little carrot" in Mexican when I went to lunch with my son Billy a few weeks ago). As I approached the stunning bright lights of the full service window, I was told that I was supposed to order from the "speaker" that was near the sign with the pictures of exotic Mexican foods. I was unsure about what this "speaker" was so the kindly young lady working at the full service window took my order right then and there! She also taught me that the "speaker" was a talking box so that I can use it next time. I did not expect to get a secular education today but thank you young lady!! I saw this as a sign from God that my beautiful wife and kids were blessed and that a holy angel was in the car with us! Sadly, the establishment did not have macaroni and sausage bowls in the shape of a little carrot but they did have a native treat called a "Mexican Pizza". I asked my extremely gifted son, Delvis, how they could make a pizza in Mexico. He explained to me that in 1492, the great explorer, Ferdinand McJenkins was on a great expedition to the far seas of what was called "Mexitalianland" (which was later shortened to just "Mexico"). While there, and old cowboy named Wilford Dimble had the idea to put spicy beans on a pepperoni pizza. That was how such an exquisite dish was created! I couldn't resist ordering this mysterious food. After a short wait and a brief exchange of paper money and metal money, I was in possession of one of the most magical treats I have ever set my eyes on. My family watched as I devoured this food of the gods while I was completely speechless. The shreds of preserved cow's milk, brown particles, shredded plants, and corn bark were the finest combination of cuisine I have eaten in decades. Thank you Taco Bell and the beautiful young lady working at the full service window! You have made an old man who is young at heart's dreams come true....
Read moreI first want to start off by saying that I am aware that this Taco Bell was very short staffed yesterday. I saw that there was a long line ahead of me and was expecting to wait maybe like 15-20 minutes max. What I was not expecting is that when I went to the drive through after waiting there for 15 minutes I’m told they don’t see my order. They told me to come inside the building so I do. They ask me three times if I ordered to the correct location and I show them on the app that it is but the cashier makes me look up the location on google maps for him to confirm it’s the right Taco Bell. Then after 5-10 minutes of trying to find my order I placed 30minutes ago now they say that they see it and just walk away leaving me confused and not knowing what the update is with my order. These customers come inside the store while I’m waiting and it’s gotta be 50 minutes since I placed my order and the customers that just got there get their food after waiting 10 minutes. I get upset and go to the counter and ask the cashier how much longer it will take and that I’ve basically placed my order an hour ago and I’m very upset because it is almost midnight now and that I’m very hungry and tired. The cashier doesn’t seem apologetic at all and just quietly says “sorry about that”. I also ask him why it’s taking so long and if he forgot about my order. He tells me they’re just going in order from the time people placed it but I knew he was lying because the people who came in 40 minutes after me ordering got their food first. 10 minutes after that my food is finally ready and the cashier unconfidently ask me if I want a drink. If you’re going to offer me something have it be a coupon or maybe a dessert. I’ve already ordered two drinks why would I need another? I went home very tired and sad cause I wasn’t planning on having dinner at midnight. Usually this is my go to Taco Bell but I am very very upset with last nights experience. Also I don’t know if they’re cleaning that place properly because it had a very funky smell the second...
Read moreLet me start off with I LOVE Taco Bell. I have loved it since I was a kid. This location sucks. I only come here because it’s close, but sometimes I will drive to Wixom to get better quality and better pricing. I’ll tell you why.
Their pricing is ridiculous. Maybe the same people who own the McDonald’s down the road own this place since their pricing is ridiculous too. You’re a fast food restaurant. Not a sit down restaurant. Back it up.
They are out of ingredients what seems like all the time. So if you order something in the app, you either can’t get what you want or it will be missing something. But you don’t find out until you get there. Apparently whoever is in charge of their stock doesn’t do a very good job. The Wixom location doesn’t seem to have this problem.
I also feel like they don’t really give you a lot in your food in general. Like, your burrito/taco/whatever won’t have a lot of beef or chicken. If I’m paying $10 or more for a fast food restaurant it needs to STUFFED. Stop being greedy and not giving us as much!
The actual inside dining area has been permanently closed, apparently. It is never open and is drive thru only. But for some reason the app will show in-store pickup. Makes no sense! And they can be sooo slow with orders. You will be in line forever and they will somehow STILL FORGET to add all of your food into the bag. How? I’ve been waiting 15 minutes, what are you doing?
The people who actually work there are decent enough. They’re better than the McDonald’s employees down the street. But otherwise I do not recommend coming here. Drive to the Wixom location, their pricing is better, their inside dining is open, they actually have all the ingredients, and they don’t take forever. Sometimes they will have a line and you will have to wait, but they are still...
