Bonnie Belle's Pastries — Restaurant in Nutter Fort

Would not recommend for a wedding cake!

This is the only bakery I have been to that refuses to make what the customer wants. Ask them to make something outside of what they normally make and they refuse.

When asking about a wedding cake we were told "we won't do that." Could not get the flavor of cake we wanted (red velvet). Lady pushes my fiance into ordering a cake designed completely different from what she wanted and a different flavor. Because "this is our most popular".

The blonde with glasses who either manages or owns the place was extremely rude. Felt like she was trying to tell us what cake we would be having for our wedding. Her attitude when we wanted to cancel the cake- worse than the initial ordering of the cake.

I hate to tell you ma'am, but you're not the only bakery around.

My husband ordered a graduation cake from Bonnie Belle’s for our son. He provided two pictures: one of our son in a tuxedo when he was one year old and a picture of our son in a tuxedo at his recent prom. My husband provided the pictures to Bonnie Belle’s several days in advance and told them he would pick up the cake at 8:00 on graduation morning. We were in the vehicle at 7:54 on graduation morning when they called and said they had a problem with our son’s prom pic. When they blew it up, it was apparently blurry. We obviously didn’t have time to send another prom pic and let them test it, so we had to just send another pic of him, which really didn’t go with his one-year old pic. Bonnie Belle's has changed through the years. I have chosen it for birthdays, anniversaries, and all occasions for 40 years and really know how good it used to be. Several years ago they quit making donuts, what true bakery doesn't make donuts ??? Now, I'm not sure when they did it, they have changed their cake icing recipe. That was the only thing that kept me going there. Now it's no different than the big box stores. I just may need to start going to Walmart, it's just as much of a true bakery as today's Bonnie Belle's is and it's a lot cheaper !!
