Must try if you are visiting Polynesian center or in area. Hands down , Best fish and chips in US. My daughter wanted to try it as she has never tried it before let alone heard about the dish. Timo ( the owner) made sure not only we get our food quickly (as kids were hungry) but he sat down with us and told us his amazing journey from NZ, to Melbourne to Hawaii. Hopefully we will see more of his trucks open in mainland US soon. He told me Florida and NY are next.

I would have give 5 stars but because the waiting time is so long. The food is great but we missed our tour because it was too late. Location: It is located just before the entrance of Polynesian Cultural Center. The food truck is huge with lot of seatings everywhere. Service: there is a short line while ordering but long time to wait. We ordered 1pm thinking that we can get the food in 30 mins but we ended up getting it at 02:05pm. We missed our tour (2pm because of this). They are nice and apologetic but when a couple (caucasian) who has later number than us they prioritize them. Then people (indian and chinese) including us complained to them on why they make the couple food first than us, and we only heard sorry from them. Food: the food was great. We ordered seafood parcel which got everything. The fish and calamari was fresh, it was crispy and huge portions. It is also seasoned well. Well maybe we are just too hungry that we thought it was good, even my nephew said he was very hungry. Price rating: 7/10, amount is okay but with the waiting time, maybe ill just go somewhere else. If there is a chance I come back to their truck, i will still give them second chance, hoping they have faster service specially if mostly of the people eating there are on tours.

The next best thing to fish and Chips from New Zealand - is the Kiwi Style Fish and Chips here in Laie. The portions are huge - we ordered 2 of the family meals and it was able to feed 6 grown adults and 5 kids. The fish, calamari, and chips were nice and crispy. If you visit the Polynesian Culture Center - you must grab a nice meal from here. It’s one of the best food trucks on the North Shore.

Fantastic! Tastes very similar to the fish and chips I had in Australia! I’d go here as often as possible. It’s a must at the PCC. The fish had a good flavor (not too fishy) and the batter is amazing! The chips are also great— some crunch and some substance. The tartar sauce was a perfect match with the fish and chips. You don’t need anything else! Highly recommend.

I couldn’t go without sharing my experience today with lunch. I’m a local who is quite pregnant (😂) and craving salty fish and chips like you’d never understand. Every employee here was extraordinarily patient and kind to me, they even threw on some extra fish to my plate out of pure aloha spirit. Thank you for making my whole day! (Food is fresh and PIPING hot🙌🥹💕)

Light and flaky delicious fish. I grew up in England and this was as good as anything I’ve ever had there. The chips are more of a french fry style, but are excellent. The best part of the entire experience, though the best part of all was the people working there. Kind attentive, and all around great.
