We have been coming here since it reopened post-covid lockdown for the dole whip while we lounge on the beach. It was great and the kids loved it. However, they just changed their policy and will now only serve guests of the hotel, despite being open to the main walkway. So today, for my son’s birthday, we pass by and go to buy a some dole whip but get turned away. Read moreNormally, I love the unique watermelon dole whip they sell, but new policies restrict sales to ONLY guests staying at the resort. I don’t understand how that makes it safer (from Covid) since it’s an outdoor snack shack, and patrons should be able to show proof of vaccination or negative test if that was a requirement/concern.
