Maui Mike's Fire-Roasted Chicken — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Been eating from this establishment for many years and it’s definitely one of my favorite places. I always order the Maui Wowie with the Cajun fries and Sweet BBQ sauce and I highly recommend you try it yourself! Chicken is always so juicy, the crusty chewy bun is the perfect vessel to hold that juicy goodness with all that melted cheese. Cajun fries have just the right amount of spice. Warning: make sure you’ve got lots of napkins and a antibacterial wipe would be a good thing to bring because it’s messy - in a good way. I don’t mean to eat in silence but I find I don’t talk at all when I eat this! If your coming from a far town, this is definitely the place worth traveling to.

Update:02/27/2023 Tried for the first time something different since they opened. The BBQ Bacon Melt. It was super delicious too. Two pieces of bacon with melted cheese on shredded all white meat chicken in BBQ sauce. Juicy and flavorful. Perfect meal with cajun fries and sweet BBQ sauce. Husband had The Feast. Whole Chicken cut up in 8 pieces with two sides- he got Mike’s fries and Baked Beans with 4 sauces of your choice. My mom had the Half Chicken Meal with Mike’s fries and ranch sauce. She loved it. Great place for food after visiting the Dole Plantation. My family didn’t want to eat at the Dole Plantation so we decided to get something while heading back to Honolulu where the Hotel was located. I did a quick search and Maui Mike’s and being from the south chicken always gets my attention lol.

The parking lot behind the restaurant is small so you may have to park across the street. Once inside we were greeted at the counter by the cashier.

The music was great that my sister and I was singing the entire time we were in the restaurant.

I would recommend this place if you love chicken there are no other meal options, only chicken. The #4 Maui Wowie Melt was great that I considered ordering one to go. My Mom loved her #1 Quarter chicken.

Disgusting place. Very dirty. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. Popeyes is far better than this garbage.

Fist time and last time. This is by far the worst chicken I've ever had. Extremely high in sodium no flavors there's no other seasonings except for salt. Not to mention that it took us 30 minutes to get our half of the chicken that we had ordered. The very rude Asian lady with a fake long eyelashes had no business being in the front taking people's orders. She wouldn't even smile and she looked extremely angry and unhappy with herself as she was taking her orders. She had zero knowledge about the food when I asked her about the sauces all I saw was shoulders.
